- Can you share what/who the police are looking for around 87th and Renner? Please and thanks
- This is a view from my balcony at the crossings apartments right beh...ind city hall looking over the resurrection cemetary. I have gone to city hall twice now and nothing is being done about these code issues! The dumpster, the refridgerator and trash accumulating next to it, and the growing piles of rubble around it. What is it going to take to make this go away?
- Anybody go to this last year?

You may have noticed the statue of our namesake, Na-Nex-Se, disappeared from City Hall today.
Don't worry, though! Our Parks Maintenance crews have removed her and are preparing her to be placed at the new City Hall near 87th and Penrose later this summer.
A big welcome goes to Stacy Knipp, who was sworn in last night as the new Ward 2 representative on the Lenexa City Council.
Stacy was appointed by Mayor Mike Boehm and confirmed by the other members of the City Council to fill the seat vacated by longtime council member Diane Linver.
We received 8 extremely good applications from residents who were interested in serving on the council. The Mayor interviewed each candidate with the help of Blake Shreck from the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce.
We are excited to announce our university partner at the new civic campus at City Center, Park University! Welcome to Lenexa!
Park will be offering both bachelor's and masters programs in classroom space inside our new City Hall building, beginning this fall!
Due to mild weather, Lenexa’s roadway maintenance work for 2017 is starting earlier in the year than usual. We plan to treat approximately 110 lane miles of residential streets with an ultra-thin bonded asphalt surface this year to protect and extend their life. As part of that work, we’re also fixing deteriorated curbs and gutters, replacing some sidewalk sections, and installing accessible curb ramps.
Many neighborhoods east of Renner Boulevard will see improvements over the coming months. (See the map with streets marked in green.) If you’d like us to attend a neighborhood association meeting to talk about what to expect with the city’s Pavement Management Program plans, contact Stephen Mustain at 913.515.9742 or email@example.com.
Take a look at the different gyms under construction inside the new Lenexa Rec Center. From pickup games to youth sports practices, they will be well used!
Like the squeak of sneakers on an indoor court? Use our second-floor gym’s two full courts or four half-courts for activities like pickup games of basketball an...d volleyball. The first-floor activity gym will offer fee-based programs like table tennis, pickleball, dodge ball, soccer, open play and more.
