The Marlette Disc Golf course is hosting a disc golf tournament this Saturday with many more scheduled this year. The course would love to feature local businesses on the course to expose the players to the great businesses and area we have here.
With that, if you are interested in being a sponsor, please give John Herman a call at (810) 404-7377. All funds raised from sponsorship go toward the Heart of the Thumb Disc Golf Club and also support the Marlette High School Di...sc Golf Team (which the girls team is the reigning state champions)!
Again, please give John call, small donation, expose the players to your business and watch our area grow!

The Sandusky Police Department has seized a counterfeit $100 bill circulating in the City of Sandusky earlier this month.
At first glance the bill appeared some... what realistic. However, upon closer inspection the bill had the word "GECERSIZDIR" printed in small black letters on both the front and back of the bill.
Our research indicates "Gecersizdir" is a Turkish work for "nonnegotiable" or "not valid." This is a recent scam occurring in the Midwest that has now reached Sanilac County.
Individuals and businesses should be on the lookout for these or any other suspicious looking bills and are encouraged to call the Sanilac County Sheriff's Office at 810-648-2000 Ext 2 should anyone try to pass these bills as real currency.
