Very, very disappoint
ed with the leadership and council who chose to join the Mayor of Wildwood's political action committee. The City of Wildwood will have a hard time functionin g between now and th...e end of April. The Mayor and the council who support this PAC will be busy fundraisin g, hosting parties and campaignin g so that the Mayor can have a council that he runs with only 5 council persons that are independen t, 5 of 16. I saw the large numbers of councilper sons who attended (behind close doors at times) the first PAC meeting as mentioned by Mayor Jim Bowlin on his Mayor of Wildwood Facebook account. Not only council, but 3 members from the Mayor appointed Board of Ethics,( who when ethics complaints are filed, will need to recuse themselves .) Please Wildwood voters before you support these candidates read informatio n about the others that the Mayor has chosen to ignore and publicly written inappropri ate things about, (this weeks agenda specifical ly with his recommenda tion to appoint 2 candidates to suspicious ly vacated council seats.) What an nightmare for this wonderful community. Please reach out to you councilper son and let them know your opinion, before April 2016 residents mattered to the Mayor and to most of the council. I gave 1 star because 0 was not an option.
I am a proud resident of Wildwood. The schools are fantastic,
the police are highly responsive and profession al, the business sector has great potential for growth, and it’s just a beautiful place to ...live. My family loves having hiking/ biking/ running trails just minutes away. The activities put on by the city are engaging and fun. I’m pleased with what our city offers and I hope to spend many more years in the community.
