Dear Facebook friends and Family,
THE Clayton Joseph Scott BAND HAS CHANGED ITS NAME TO “Brightside”
As many of you may or may not know for the last 4 years I have been in Los Angeles building my music career and fulfilling a vision that w...as sewn while traveling in India during 2008/9.
I have had an amazing journey perusing creative passion and pushing the limits of my personal “call” in life. During the past two years I have had the esteemed privilege to find my band. A group of talented and unique individuals that have helped construct the sound that was featured on my first full-length album called “More Love” ((https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/more-love/id539607201))
Last year we began working with our friend Adam Topol to produce our new EP called West of Lincoln (due to release next month) and during that time something really magical happened, our BAND sound was born.
As the weeks progressed towards releasing this new music, a strong feeling came over me that this group required an identity outside of my name. It needed a band name.
Our collective musical mission is to uplift people with the power of music and give the listener HOPE! We looked up synonyms for the word “hope” and the word “Brightside” was on the list. When we saw that name we all knew that the Clayton Joseph Scott Band would be called “BRIGHTSIDE”
Brightside is:
Daniel Konscious Krieger on guitar
Austin Nicholsen on bass
Will Phillips on percussion
Steve Aguilar on keys
We have just released our first sing called Runnin’ (see link below to have a listen) and the attached video explains more about this transition!
