Clear Science, Inc., as part of on-going research, is grappling with how to present a vast array of data, mostly gridded, in such an efficient way that users can exploit the data within an interactive climate decision support system (DSS), and do so at speeds users have come to expect within a web interface. This project compares two leading options for doing this.

Follow project: A Practical Comparison of Data Extraction Speeds between Unidata’s Thematic Real-time Environmental Distributed Data Services (THREDDS) and Paradigm 4’s SciDB by Bruce Ford on ResearchGate, the professional network for scientists.
