Come down from t’north, I’ve had a few blinding nights in your building. My favourite night was definitely the Northern Soul one, which Peckham Soul were hosting.

Bad review people just left it too late or turned up too drunk. Cracking venue at the heart of Peckham's scene. Can't go wrong with the line ups and the amount of love they put in. Well worth a trip d...own to Bussey! See More

This used to be an ok night out, but that was back when it cost less than a fiver in and about 3 quid per can of red stripe. Now you advertise disco but play house and charge £6 for the benefit of li...stening to music i didn't intend to listen to whilst blocking off the other floors with heavy handed bouncers. Back in the day the whole club was open, not just one floor. I guess you've succumbed to the great capitalist wet dream. Tonight was the last time I'll be coming and it wasn't a memorable one. Booked tickets as we wanted to see Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band. Very jovial and efficient security, great soul music. Felt a bit out of place in such a young crowd! Good night out though, mig...ht take a few more wrinklies to balance out the numbers next time round... See More

One of the worst experiences at a club I've ever had. The Christmas carnival at bussey building - oversold, worst queue, understaffed, rudest bouncers, and enduring this hour and a half long excruciat...ingly physically painful experience, when getting to the front we were told the venue was shut down. I expect a full refund as well as compensation for the time wasted, te service not provided for the ticket pre-bought, and the physically brutal queueing experience See More

Recently attended soul train. Great staff and venue. Spot on music and outstanding live band but it did seem like a particularly young crowd, which apparently has not always been the case. Reasonably ...priced drinks too. See More

I might have founded + run the joint - but after over 25 years of doing this around the world, gotta say that The CLF / Bussey is my favourite venue by far. Killah line ups, great vibes, staff and peo...ple [always] and a totally unique multi-level warehouse space, May the best of times continue X See More

I LOVE THIS PLACE!
The bar staff and management are the hottest and fastest in London #servicewithasmile #dontgetittwisted. They also go above and beyond #bigup! Security are security, don't be a d*c...k - smile and party. Been some seriously good nights here - Soul Train is great but there so much more to it. Live Bands #JLLY, Theatre, Flamenco dance + they have a powerhouse record shop downstairs...WHAAAATTT! See More

Great venue! There's a special atmosphere to this place that you feel as soon as you walk in. Good musical programming as well, something for everyone.
Highly recommend!

This event (The South London Soul Train Turns 5 ( 5th March 2016 ) had been in my diary for weeks - Bussey just 15 minutes walk from my front door is one of my fave clubs in London - Mikey Jazzheadch...ronic is the key to all this - you have created a winning formula on about what five levels - of course the main event on clubbing nights is always in the main room but there is so much more to explore and my only frustration is that I often want to be in at least three rooms at once - Bussey is so good it should be illegal and to imagine if it was not for a MASSIVE community effort speaheaded by Mickey in 2015 one of the best clubs in London would have been no more - if luxury flats near the venue had been approved Bussey and so much more would have become a memory.
This was the first time I managed to party from 10.15pm untill 5am - I decided the only way at 57yo that I would go ALCOHOL free! OMG it was not easy - but I had got smashed the night before woke up and thought right that's it!
It was a master stroke!
Mickey has created something so special - how many clubs combine LIVE bands? very few - Brother Strut were perfect and I could tell by the bands reaction that they were blown away by the crowd.
At 57 no doubt I am usually what 20 years in advance of anyone - I just LOVE being with a young crowd, and wow does Bussey attract a young crowd - although my sexuality is quite obvious I have NEVER experienced ANY hostility - A highlight was dancing crazy with a female couple - very much a couple like me it was obvious they felt so comfortable in such a mixed environment .
The chemistry of the Bussey crowd is very special - everyone is just there to have a great time.
Maybe it was being alcohol free but for me this was my best ever Bussey, I felt so connected with everything - and BOY did I salivate over some of the guys OMG.
It is clear the crowd appreciates Mickey - that was so evident when we had lights up at 5am and he spun three more tracks - everyone went crazy.
Also the staff are brilliant and I love the security team - you can check some of them out in these albums.
I could go on so much more - but IF what I have shared encourages anyone who has never tried Bussey to GO FOR IT.
Finally I am eternally grateful to Mikey for having faith to book Ladies On Rotation - on my recommendation last year - and I so hope you will have these crazy gals back again.

Extremely rude bouncer at the door. Really ruined my night. I can't think of any reason why he was so rude and obnoxious. Will avoid going there because of this. Shame.

Rudest and most classist security staff ever. Avoid at all costs.
