Back to working on my Pullup goals. During my strength journey they have been really strong at times and really weak at times due to overuse then time off and repeat.
I have pulled 24kg over the bar and I have had up to 13 or so BW reps BUT currently my maxes are way less and I am okay with that. If we only focus on our “USE TO COULDs” we would always feel down about ourselves. Strength ebbs and flows, so roll with it and show yourself grace!

So for today I am happy to be back to 3-5 sets of 5 without elbow pain. It’s a WIN.

Light Turkish Getups with pressing at each step was a great warmup today. Love slow light getups as they move through so many planes of motion, while focusing on joint stability. After a few of these I am ready for some heavy lifting.

KETTLEBELL JERK session 5/5
Rest and repeat for desired sets.

The jerk cue is dip-drive-drop then we stand and reset. Don’t over grip your bell and allow the hips and the triple extension to make the bell float about eye level then drop under it to full overhead lockout. After a slight pause stand and reset for next repetition.
