My brother and I went to Coffee Fest this year after starting our coffee business last year. This was an eye opener at the amount of passion people have for the coffee industry. We left with great i...nfo and some good new contacts on how we can grow our business! I hope to go to many more of these in the future! See More

Been going to Coffee Fest for 10 years now. Love it. Keeps me abreast of new trends and products, as a coffee roaster and coffee shop owner.

If you love coffee this is a must attend event.
A beautiful video of the coffee harvesting process from the Illy website.
This is a piece that The Today Show did about the Coffee Fest NY 2012 Latte Art Championships (begins at 30 seconds after a commercial) featuring just some of the top baristas that competed in NY. Christopher Nicely Abel Alameda is interviewed. You will also see Daniel Demers, Kim Yeung and Ryan Soeder pouring, multiple pours in the cup by walk-in artists like John, roaster at Quills Coffee, and the awards ceremony. Kim Yeung of Holly Brown won first, Ryan Soeder of Counter Culture Coffee completed his cabinet of awards with second, and Nick Van Slett of JP's Coffee and Espresso took third. The Coffee Fest Latte Art Championship is sponsored by Nuova Simonelli, Dillanos Coffee Roasters, Barista Exchange, Barista Magazine, and Ghirardelli Chocolate. The competition was judged by Matt Milletto of American Barista & Coffee School and Barista Exchange, Sarah Allen of Barista Magazine, and Chris Deferio of Defurios Coffee Consulting. Thank you everyone for your participation. It was awesome. To find out more about the Championship or apply for our upcoming Chicago or Seattle shows, go to
