I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on the incident last night with the truck hitting the light post. The HOA was contacted by the sheriffs office and we are working with them to get this situation resolved but it will take some time. There are a variety of options and we are looking at each for the best course of action whether criminal, civil, or other proactive steps we take. We will keep you updated but please be patient and understand that the issue is being dealt with. I plan to contact the other board members and YPM to discuss further. This is something that is unacceptable and we will look to protect the neighborhoods Best interests and safety at all times. Thanks.

Although we did not have enough particiation to reach quorum, I want to say a big thanks to those that showed up last night for our annual meeting. It was good to see our fellow neighbors and have open discussion about all the good things going on in our community as well as hear your feedback and concerns.

FYI - the association had some sidewalk work done today at the intersection of Lilac Ln. and Black Cherry Ln. on both sides of Lilac Ln. Please try to keep kids, pets, parents, and others off of the wet concrete for at least the next 24hrs. It will be marked but wanted to share. We have asked that the bus also drop off a little before or after the intersection so the kids are not hopping out into it in case you wondered about the slight change in drop off today. Thanks

Columbia Lakes has just entered into a contract with Spartan Paving, Inc to clean out and then seal cracks on our roadways between ¼” and 1” throughout the community. This hot rubberized crack sealant is necessary to prevent further damage and to extend the life of our streets. In the coming weeks, YPM will notify residents of the dates that Spartan plans to perform this work. Streets may be temporarily blocked off while crack sealant is being performed.

In order for Spar...tan to successfully seal all of these cracks, the Board will be temporarily suspending all street parking beginning 24 hours in advance of the scheduled work and extending through the duration of the project. Vehicles parked on the road starting 24 hours before sealing is scheduled to begin will be tagged and towed if necessary.

If you have any questions, please contact YPM@ypminc.com for more information about the crack sealing within Columbia Lakes.

Thank you,

Your Columbia Lakes Board
