Its a great little hall for hearing small ensembles. The music - Sufi - was interesting. But maybe a viola would provide some middle tones. Just violin and cello together make a very open harmony that can sound spacey after a while.

Latecomers and wineglass-knocking-over arguing couples at the back were a bit of a distraction. The latecomers just kept coming and coming for half an hour. Otherwise lovely place, great show and thank you Tom Donald

Conway Hall is a fantastic left London institution and public space. What would we do without Conway Hall - there is nothing quite like it!

Was a rich experience within all the speeches and different areas related to Harmful evidence, but physically exhaustive, where the sits could be a little more comfortable for a full day event.

This Friday's Conway Hall Book Club, hosted in our library by Istros Books & Peter Owen Publishers, will be discussion around the 2012 novel Hansen's Children by Montenegrin author Ognjen Spahić. Set in a hospital at the time of the 1989 revolution in Romania, the themes of this book touch on physical appearance and identity, our horror of 'the other', and the continuing prejudice of the West against the East.
