Cool Summer is one of the most chilled of the summer festivals from the weather, the amazing views and the relaxed vibe.
However there are a few simple rules that we need you to follow whilst here.

1) NO GLASS AT THE BIG D STAGE - it's on a ski slope in a National Park. Please bring cans or transfer your liquids to plastic. We've all been to festivals - it's standard practice.

2) NO BYO AT THE GENNY STAGE - it's part of the General Store licensed area and frankly, we can't risk our livelihoods for it. The Genny will have all possible beverage requirements you could possibly want including takeaways if you are leaving for the night to kick on elsewhere.

3) NO DOGS - not on leashes, not if they are great with people, not if they will just sit quietly next to you. WHY? Because National Park, that's why...

4) FIRE SAFETY - you will be advised if there is any kind of Fire Ban and you will be asked to leave if you do not follow these. At the camping ground you MUST only use the central fireplace. Nowhere else please.

Hi Cool Summerites!
A few words about the little guys in our lives.
Cool Summer is very family friendly. All kids under 16 will be admitted free - Yep FREE!
We have some awesome activities organised for them on the Big D - arts and crafts, cardboard tobogganing, circus skills and giant games.
Kids under 18 can attend the Big D Stage sessions unaccompanied (if you trust them - we do) but due to our licensing, if they want to come to The Genny Stage sessions in the evenings they MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Cool Summer Festival has got your tastebuds covered. Food and refreshments will be available all weekend.

The General Store are offering a full pub menu and their rightly famous pizzas all weekend for lunch and dinner. Liquid refreshments can be purchased from their awesome bar staff from lunch until late.

If you don't want to walk down during the day, our festival food zone near the Big D stage will be offering:

Chai by the local lovelies at El Marie Chai.

Alpine Airstream Coffee will be freshly brewing your caffeinated choice using local Sixpence Coffee beans

Blizzard Brewing Company Australia's Highest Brewery will be offering a summery selection of their finest frothies at the Big D Stage for Australia's Highest Festival.

Med/Mex influenced tastiness from Tapas Hermanos

Pretzels and more from the new bakery in Harrietville

Kebabs for carnivores and can’t-i-vores by the Genny Auxiliary Mobile Service (GAMS) crew.

For your breakfast culinary requirements the Omeo Benambra Football Netball Club will be smashing out breakfast rolls in front of the General Store from 8.30am till 10.30am or until sold out. For something more substantial you could take a quick 10 minute scoot down to Dinner Plain where the Mountain Kitchen cafe and the Ramada resort both serve great brekky spreads.

Friday Night at Cool Summer Festival is 'Ninch' Night. That's right we have scooped up three bands from the sands of the Mornington Peninsula for your delectation - Rennie, The Grogans and Stiff Richards. The bands embody Surf Punk at it's finest. And Rennie...well he's just a punk who surfs. They will be joined by Hotham's own Steakfaced, who do more than their fair share of surfing but on the snow. If high energy, melodic madness is your thing, make sure you catch 'Ninch' Night on Friday the 19th at Cool Summer Festival
