Tomorrow morning the 12 semi-finalists will be announced and then pitch. The top 5 will pitch in the afternoon for the honour of being selected the world's best creative startup.
Our founder Bianca Welds has been selected for the Kim Parsell Memorial Scholarship for WordCamp US being held in Nashville, Tennessee, December 1-3. Her talk will be entitled "Pah! Jamaican Sign Language and WordPress"
Yesterday was filled with meetings, but lots of meaningful connections and conversations around future partnerships, collaborations and funding opportunities for the creative industries.
The biggest tip we can give to arts organisations and practitioners right now is to stay open and connect with people and then share your dreams and visions as the universe will help to bring opportunities your way.
This is the 6th year that the Creative Business Cup is welcoming startups, inventors, innovators, creatives and investors from around the globe to celebrate innovation, disruption and new ideas in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Look at some of the stellar speakers that our National Winner will get to see and possibly meet! Exciting times!

The Creative Canvas is customized to work for artists by:
1. Focusing on the fundamental building blocks of an artist's business model
2. Starting with the experience an artist wants to create instead of a specific product
3. Providing a sequence to create a seamless path from that experience through to making money from it

Continuing to look at how the Creative Canvas works. The next key is that it is based on a proven system that:

3. Breaks the business down into its fundamental building blocks

How does the Creative Canvas work?
The first key is that it is artist-focused and tackles a primary challenge for many creative artists:
1. They want to make art...
2. They want to make money
3. They don't want to "sell out"
