I have no idea how the actual product is. I ordered a subscription for my niece and first delivery was promised within six weeks. At seven weeks she hadn't received her copy of Ask. So I emailed them ...and waited three days. Cricket never responded. I emailed again, and they didn't respond; even though they promise emails will be answered in two business days. So I had to resort to Facebook Messenger.
We are now eight weeks in and no magazine. I ordered my nephew a magazine at the same time from another company. He has received two issues now and is happy. While my niece has gotten nothing. We are disappointed, and Cricket really doesn't seem to care. They actually told me "We are a small community and shipping can take a while." That sounds like a scripted response. Why advertise six to seven weeks if there is no intention of honoring that promise? My niece has waited two months. How long are we supposed to wait? Buyer Beware; Cricket is shady.

While my kids enjoy these subscriptions - we have all for ages 6-13- we will be cancelling. Very disappointed there is no audio option for children with dyslexia, reading disabilities or visual impai...rment. Too expense to justify when not all of my children can enjoy them. I love having hold in your hand magazines, be you need an online audio companion. See More

Very disappointed!!ordered three magazines for my grand children in January they did not receive them. (By march 26) I called customer service and they could only find two of the orders, they could n...ot help me and were not very courteous. I ended up cancelling all three orders. Too difficult to deal with....what a shame! See More

Great magazines! I placed my order online had no trouble ordering. I have received all the magazines I ordered within the stated timeline (4wks). My girls 10 and 5 love them! The magazines all have ap...propriate topics, and the articles/stories are perfect length to keep their interest. Thank you!! See More

Purchased two months ago and have yet to receive my child’s first magazine. Attempted to contact customer service with no response. I’m disappointed that I didn’t go with another company.

Ordered magazines for grandson prior to Christmas 2017. Never received them. No follow up phone calls. I called twice and I was told they were marked undeliverable???! Am I a mind reader?? No communic...ation! I told them to deliver to my address...let’s see if that works. I’m sure there are other publishers of youth magazines I will never use this one again. See More

My children have loved their subscriptions to Ladybug, Click, Spider, and Ask over the past few years (we haven't gotten to the older kid magazines yet), and I've enjoyed giving them such a fun way to... read and learn. I also really like that there aren't any ads. See More

I'm VERY dissapointed with this business. I've subscribed, and spent 4 weeks waiting, as well as over 6 emails to customer service. I'm starting to think this outfit is a fraud. I'm based in New Zeala...nd, and the 1800 number doesn't work here. your automated replies said it guaranteed a 2 day response time. Well, that was 3 weeks ago. I would like a refund on my purchase, an i would like you to get in touch with me. Please message me, and I will provide you with my number so you can call me direct. See More

You're magazine is STILL here?
Awesome! And it's so far out that you also have magazines for younger readers and teens!

Buying now for my Grandchildren, whose parents read Cricket growing up! Hoping the service has stayed the same!

Every child deserves a childhood and Cricket gives the best opportunity for kids to explore their innocence, balanced with curious intellectualism. Cricket Media places child safety at the top of thei...r priority list, cutting edge social media considered, in a precarious world where young people, along with the child in all of us, need a safety zone. I just wish that Cricket Media mags were more alive in the commonplace; supermarkets, book stores and other retailers. These mags are really beautiful, inspiring poetry, short stories and artwork. I ordered a subscription of Ask magazine on September 17th and still have yet to receive a single issue. I called and was told it would be here by 15th of this month. The 15th came and went and nothin...g. So I called again. The girl I spoke with said it had been shipped and would be here now by the 24th. Well guess what? The 24th has come and gone and still no magazine. This is well outside of your 4-6 week deliver recommendation of the first magazine and I am incredibly disappointed as this was purchased as a gift! I'm sure their magazines are great, but I have no confidence in their ability to actually deliver them. Purchased a digital subscription to Cobblestone three weeks ago and have received nothing but co...nfusing and contradictory information regarding a site called zinio, which seems to have no record of my account. And the only way you can get a response from customer service is to post on this Facebook page. They just shouldn't offer digital subscriptions if they can't fulfill them. See More

While they offer a high quality product, they have failed to send 3 issues of Babybug, nor do they have any extra issues when they make this error. Their customer service is awful, and instead of actu...ally giving you the issue you paid for, they renew the subscription. Which just means you will keep having the same problem for a longer period of time, not actually receive the product you paid for, and have to deal with their poorly trained staff. Not worth the trouble. See More

The BEST magazines around. Our house currently receives five different magazines, with three additional subscriptions given as gifts. However, the customer service is so terrible, I would not recommen...d this magazine to my school, my teacher peers, or my family members. Their website is difficult to navigate and consistently creates errors in shipping and billing. When I wrote to customer service to request a subscription change and a shipping address change, I did not get a response. When I called customer service, I was told that I absolutely could not talk to a human being, and that the person online could only submit additional forms. I will need to wait up to seven days to find out where my magazines are being shipped to! That seems crazy, especially given the high cost of the magazines. I'm hoping that a company capable of putting together such good content will get its act together. See More

While it can be frustrating to manage your subscriptions for multiple children; there are great deals available on these high quality and advertisement free magazines. I feel good about the money I ha...ve spent on these magazine subscriptions over the last 20+ years for my kids and as gifts for other children. It is nice that the kids get a monthly gift long after other holiday or birthday gifts have been forgotten. See More
