2010 CRW Season Opener

Tarp is off the field at Principal Park. 1st 4A game is at 12:20 pm (originally scheduled for 11:00 am). No specific reschedule times for follow-on games have been posted, recommend planning travels to support original time, but be patient if all games start a bit late.

The #6 seed Warriors will play the #3 seed Trojans in the quarterfinals of the Iowa 4A state baseball tournament.
Ticket info:
Principal Park ticket office: (515) 243-6111.
All tickets are $10 for each session (two games). Children in kindergarten and younger are admitted for free. All seating is general admission. Gates open for each session 60 minutes prior to the game.
Parking is $8 per vehicle....
Tailgating is allowed. All grills must be on a grass surface.
Handicap assistance and seating is availalbe.
No outside food or drink may be brought into the stadium.

Warriors will play next at 7 pm on Wednesday, July 19th at Warrior Field, hosting either Jefferson or Davenport Central (they play Monday to see who advances to the sub-state finals against Wash).

Make sure you have plans to come out this Friday, July 14th, to cheer on the Warriors. After closing out the regular season with a shutout win over North Scott and reaching the 22 win plateau, the Warriors head into sub-state play, hosting Dubuque Hempstead at 7 pm Friday.

Congrats to Lincoln Riley and Nolan Cavanaugh, The Starlite Room Warriors of the Week for 3-9 July. With no home games this week, here is the congratulatory summary:
Lincoln batted .500 over the week with 2 doubles, scoring 6 times, knocking in 2 runs and stealing 6 bases.
Nolan collected 5 hits, scored 3 runs and 3 RBIs and also stole 3 bases.
Well done, Warriors!
