Join SEPTO for our next presentation: "Preparing for you Child's IEP Meeting" on Tuesday, February 13th @ 9:45 AM in the District Office Community Room.

Come join us for a brief overview of the IEP process, tips on how to best prepare for your meeting. Whether it’s your first eligibility determination meeting or your 10th we are here to support you.

Below are a few tips to consider as well:...
* Prepare notes in advance about what you want to learn/find
out at the meeting
*Talk to members of your child's team prior to the meeting
*Feel comfortable asking questions or seeking clarification for
your child - you are the most important person there!

What an amazing night! Thank you all who came out to the CSH Special Education PTO's fundraiser, Taste of the Town. The participation from the restaurants was amazing: NY Garden Kabob, Sandbar, Honu Kitchen, Pronto Pizza, Mario's Pizza, Spring Street, PenelopeNYC, LaPiazza, Organic Crush, Sal D's, Harbor Mist, Joanina, Samurai, Kashi, Southdown Pizza, Burgerology, Chef Kristy, Chef Gail, Roar, Cupcakes by Linda Miller, the Cake Lady, and last and by no means least, Jackie S...hammah!

We doubled what we made last year and are excited to work with the Special Education Department to enhance the learning experience for our students!

I also want to thank my amazing board: Rhonda Schiller Sutaria, Diana Valentin Gileno, Kristine Jacobson, Nicole Prizzi, Irina Miretskiy, and Kim Testa! Kim Te did an incredible job pulling this together. She truly was a rock star!!
