Max for Live Sightings: New Path by TheZooo -- As you may have noticed from previous articles, I’m a little obsessed with sequencers. I keep a close eye on the Max forums, maxforlive.com and similar hideouts for whatever might be the latest step sequencer developments, and I’m always one of the first in line for any new implementations. - DDG

Very useful patch from Federico Foderaro
Normals calculation in jit.gen. This time the normals are averaged between all adjacent vertices for a better result and displayed using a js script, still not ...perfect.
You can fiddle with the patch downloading the file at this link: https://github.com/…/Max-MSP-Jitt…/tree/master/cross_normals

ExPrandom - great project!
This patch was created with the idea that loops could be made via automation, created and recorded as multiple audio files and MIDI clips from a variety of devices and VSTS inside Ableton. A major consideration taken with this project is how Humanistic MIDI generated with scope for even more dynamics.
I spent last week in Copenhagen, Denmark and the annual NIME (New Interfaces for Musical Expression) conference having my mind prodded, scanned, tickled, and – now and then – totally expanded. Here’s a look at some of what went down - Gregory

Fantastic work, Luca!

I’m very pleased to finally share my project AV0: an exploration on live human-computer collaboration in the audio visual field.
In this performance the compute...r decides how visuals look and behave, thus influencing the way the performer will play. The project was made in #maxmsp and it’s controlled in #abletonlive via #abletonpush.
If you’re curious, you can read all about it on this page: http://www.lucaderosso.com/expo/av0/
If you’re adventurous you can fork the source code here: https://github.com/lucaderosso/AV0
If you’re a supporter, you’re about to click the share button.
Looking forward to hearing thoughts and feedback and if you’re up to working on something together let me know.
Cycling '74 shared Icaro Ferre's post.
Nice share by our friend Icaro Ferre - very useful for UI development
Hey guys, just wanted to share something that might be useful to some of you.
Because I'm always trying different color palettes for my UI elements, I used to a...lways convert RGB / RGBa / Hex colors to decimal values values (so I can script color changes). In order to automate this process, I wrote a very simple JS script that does that automatically.
What's cool about having this as a simple JS object is that I can store colors in hex values (inside dictionaries) and convert them automatically.
I'm not sure if anyone else has a better solution for this problem but anyway, I made a simple package and uploaded it to GitHub.
I also included an example snippet so you guys can bring it into your patches and use whatever part you need.
