We love that blue is a "hot" furniture color right now and are painting more and more blue pieces. Here are pictures of some that we've done.

April is always a fun month in the daffodil household with two birthdays to celebrate -- actually, three if we count our furbaby (and we do!). Mr. D and I will be traveling to Central Florida this month to celebrate his, to visit friends, and to relax on the beach and listen to the ocean.
Do you have any special plans for April?

As Mr. Daffodil always says, "Make it a Great Day!"

After spending days (sometimes weeks) on large furniture projects, it's nice to take a break and work on smaller and quicker projects like this wood clock. Painted white and covered with a French script and floral paper in warm shades of pink, lavender and green, it is the perfect size to set on a desk, vanity, bookshelf or cabinet. It measures 5.5" wide x 3.5" deep x 6" tall.

Of course, we would love for you to own a daffodil hill piece of your very own, but if you just haven't seen one (yet) that you cannot live without...

This was a FUN project to work on. This solid wood vintage Stanley china cabinet was a yawner when we found it. But look at her now! Wowza! Gorgeous Mediterranean blue with a Wasabi green interior and coordinating floral fabric on the sides of the drawers and back panel of the hutch. The original hardware is stunning in oil rubbed bronze with gold gilded highlights.
We are taking her to the showroom tonight -- The Painted Sofa, 1331 Union Avenue, KCMO.
