      Whistle Stop Antiques Belton Saturday June 7th at 7:00PM Dan Weber and Avery Hill will play at Whistle Stop Antiques. This is part of the KCCafe Radio concert series. I have been listening to Dan Weber and he sounds like a great folk singer. Cannot wait to see him perform. The doors will open at 6:30 and as always, there will be a lot of good food to snack on. Reservations are required and space is limited, so contact me at (816) 322-0200 and I will reserve a spot for you. There is a $15.00 suggested donation for the performer that can be given to him the night of the concert.

      I wrote this on my FB page today: I was sitting at the bar in the Tucson airport on my way back to Houston and this guy walked in wearing a cowboy hat and carrying a guitar case. I thought that we'd probably get along, then he sat down next to me and ordered a double Beam & Coke and I knew that we'd get along. He turned out to be named Dan Weber and he was in town for the Tucson Folk Festival, which I'd meant to look into but I hadn't had the time. He was on his way back to Portland. It took me a few days to look up his music, but he has a cd out called "Ash and Bone" that I downloaded and it's really good. Great guy. I think that he'll be at Kerrville later this month. Please check him out.

    Had a Great show last night in Hampton, Iowa with our Wonderful hosts Mark and Gloria~ who made tasty biscuits and gravy for breakfast and sent us down the road with 'Revel' bars that we're sublime BOTH times. Needless to say Avery and I LO...VED Iowa through and through...

    We had tonight off (our first after 7 shows in 7 days) but we're already getting excited for tomorrow night's show at Foam in St. Louis~tell your local friends---would Love to see them there!!!     Meer weergeven

    Just did a Live/On- Air impromptu Front Porch show with Avery Hill on 89.1 KHOI in lovely downtown Ames, Iowa. Super nice folks down at the station and next door at the Ames Historical Society. Totally fun walking in off the street and getting the star treatment from some seriously enthusiastic folks. Needless to say we're now BIG fans of KHOI~ 'The Heart of Iowa'.     Oh man the Secret Show in Des Moines was Fabulous tonight! A mix of Avery, me and the Front Porch that felt like a Conversation instead of a concert. Our hosts Wes and Karen are so dang nice~ just feeling lucky to be here and to sing my songs for folks. 'I Ain't Done Ramblin Yet' ....Show tomorrow night in Hampton, Iowa~ Can't Wait!!!

    Had just an Amazing show in Grand Island, Nebraska last night!! Our hosts Matt and Ele treated us like family, the audience was packed tight in a sweet porch (just our style),we woke with the beautiful birds singing and we left Nebraska kno...wing the long drive to the prairie was well worth it~ new friends, good times, and a special night. Can't wait to go back!!! Tonight the Front Porch Tour rolls into Des Moines at Java Joes for our 5th show in 5 nights- if you've got friends in Des Moines send' em our was to Java Joe's tonight at 7pm! Meer weergeven

    The Front Porch Tour rolls on Tonight to Grand Island, Nebraska for our 4th show in 4 nights!! The weather's cooled down (a Blissful 73), there's a rumor of BBQ pork and ice cold beer and frankly every show has been Special so Avery and I are gettin ready to add another unforgettable chapter to the Front Porch Tour!!!

    Really fun show last night in Belton, Missouri (outside Kansas City). Great setting at Whistle Stop Antiques and a lovely crowd to boot...Big THANKS to Kathy, Kathleen and John at KC Cafe Radio for putting the show together, to Sally at Whistle Stop for the inviting space and especially to Kathy Forste for the PA and a place lay our road weary heads down...Today the Front Porch Tour rolls onto Nebraska!!!!

    A-Freaking AMAZING show Tonight in Mountain View, Arkansas....Avery and I finished then the crowd re-organized and now They're playing one fantastic song after another for us~ couldn't be sweeter "there's an Ozark Mountain morning on the way" ....sigh...#ILoveTouring
