First of all, I want to say that I really had a great time at my first DOTD event in Chicago! But, like anything I really like and want to see prosper, I'd like to pass on a few pieces of feedback to ...hopefully make the event even better!

1) Location - the hotel was really tight for the number of attendees on Saturday and the panel locations were not marked at all. I remember walking through the pool room to get to the outdoor tent for the Dee Snider panel and someone asked me, "why are you going outside?" Clearly, I wasn't the only one who could've used some markings.
2) Photo Ops - I waited 30 minutes in the wrong line to get a celebrity photo opp. During that 30 minutes, I had plenty of conversations and interactions with the volunteers who knew what opp I was waiting for but never spoke up to ask if I needed to be in a different line...I think they confused the various celebrity opps as well. Luckily, the celebrity was late getting to the photo opp and I didn't miss our window once I got in the correct line.
3) Photos - we took a picture with a celebrity and nobody told us where to get the print out. I finally found the table where pictures were randomly placed. And there were no directions as to where to get the download...luckily this Facebook page had the deets on that.

Little tweaks like this could make the overall experience even better than it already was. I do plan on going again next year. Thanks. ~Bob

Was fun. The autographs were way more expensive then the other horror conventions $$60! but overall was a blast! The hotel to stay in was not good at all but the overall convention was fun! Very crowd...ed and a lot to see!the staff was very nice! Will come again depending on if the celebrity choices improve. Couple of the stars were bored cause no one knew who they were. And one day of the stars was like begging for us to buy an autograph lol ... negotiating with his high prices! Was very funny. See More

Days of the Dead is amazing! Everybody is always so helpful and friendly. They get the best vendors and have the coolest stuff for sale and to see. They have amazing, informative, exciting and insight...ful panels and workshops. So many cool people to meet, from celebrity guests to the vendors to just the other attendees themseleves, it really is just a big family! I don't have a bad thing to say about any of the shows we've attended so far, of which there have been 3. Keep up the amazing work everyone involved with DOTD, and I readily await my next show I get to go have a blast at! See More

I don't think I ever did my review for Days of the Dead Indy this year! Guess now I probably should XD

So Days of the Dead Indy was my first days of the dead and I must say it hit all my expectation.... Truly a fan driven con with spectacular guests for Indy. I always loved seeing the Japanese guests Haruo (R.I.P) and Tsutomu are magnificent guests, so I'll be looking forward to seeing more of the Kaiju or other Japanese guests you guys choose to bring HINT HINT ATLANTA cough! Everything was awesome the dealers den was filled with so much stuff but with money spent all on autographs and photos had no real time to dig for stuff there, maybe next time!

Looking forward to my next Days of the Dead adventure! Once again well done guys!

I’d give it a 5 for the event. It was great. I deducted a star because an event taking place in November with the parking not particularly close and in Chicago should have coat check available. I’d pa...y for it. It would be a big help to people bringing their kids, too. See More

Long-term review: I've gone to every DOTD for the last 3 years, and have had a crazy amount of fun each time. I've met so many cool industry people, and ended up making friends with a lot of the staff.... A very solid operation, I'm excited watching them grow. Cheers! See More

Tremendous catching up with the good brother Ed Gonzales yesterday. If you are able to attend the Days Of The Dead convention DO IT!!! You won't regret it. I took my older brother who's a horror buff.... He's never gone to anything like that.. and he was blown away. A kid in a candy store. Best thing for me was to gift him the VIP with Linda Blair. Thanks Ed for a great show.. and that pumpkin drank was the shit!!! sell that stuff See More

Had a great time not only being a Patron at DotD but also as a guest. We had a cosplay booth and repair station for those attending and were treated with respect and the staff were extremely helpful. ...Hope to attend more in the future. Adolfo and Chris did a great job of keeping me informed and making sure my members were taken care of. See More

Had the best time this weekend, definetly plan to come back .. only issue is that the first day there was so much confusion as to where things were (panels etc) .. when asking about the second floor ...no one seemed to know what we were talking about! After that was discovered everything was great though! See More

(Charlie Huge) I went VIP and loved it! Staff was super helpful and courteous, especially Adam and Nathan. And the Celebs were phenomenal!!! The tattoo artists had some awesome art prints for sale a...t affordable prices and there were other great artists among the vendors. The rest of the vendors were super cool and I made notes in my notebook to shop online with several of them. I would love for Captain and Maybelle to bring some friends next time, because the side show was so cool and they would be at home amongst us. I sang karaoke on friday night and when I saw celeb guest William Butler on Saturday he told me I did a great job!!!!! And Harry.... when I won an item in the VIP raffle and raised my hand with my ticket... he remembered me from friday night and said (on the mic for the whole room to hear ) "is that Charlie?" That made me feel so great! Last but not least, the other fans. Cosplayers, haunters, movie junkies, wrestling fans all having a blast together, talking costumes, taking pics sharing our experiences. I've been to my share of horror conventions - Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, Flashback Weekend, HorrorHound, etc. - and DOTD consistently puts on a great, fan-friendly show that doesn't try to gouge cus...tomers on their prices. Their staff is top-notch, their set-up impeccable, and guest selection above average.

Buy the ticket, take the ride and enjoy DOTD as soon as you can!

ALWAYS! had great experiences at the fests/conventions. The Special Guests have always been courteous and professional. Autograph prices are reasonable but do save up (because getting caught up in app...earances will have you spending some cash). Love the mixture of guests and all vendors have been really cool too. Everyone is always there for the same reason! Days of the Dead is a rare occasion that has always made me feel welcome. See More

Vincent was the last member... to wear a unique makeup/costume concept, taking on the character of "Ankh Warrior". Vinnie Vincent is the music architect who performed, produced and written music with his own band, VINNIE VINCENT INVASION, releasing two full length albums with the group. Horror fans may even remember the song "Love Kills," written by Vincent, which not only appeared as part of the soundtrack to A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER, but also saw Vinnie wearing Freddy Kruger's trademark sweater, hat, and glove in the "Love Kills" video, as well as performing the song with Freddy himself in an MTV special hour long promotion for NOES 4.

Congratulations to the following winners related to our recent DOTD: Atlanta food drive. - Winner of two Weekend Passes for largest donation: JOSEPH PAUL WATTS (100 lbs)

Once again, thanks to EVERYONE who helped us to start the year off with a phenomenal effort to help individuals in need in the greater Atlanta area and setting the pace for the rest of the year!

Well, it took a little longer than anticipated to tally up all of our final donation numbers for our DOTD: MORE GRAINS! food drive at DOTD: Atlanta, but that was mainly due in part to what a HUGE success it was and the large help from the horror fans that came out to the show.

Overall we had 738 lbs of food collected for both humans and pets - over SEVEN TIMES what we collected last year and our largest food haul of any city since we first started the program in November of 2...016! In total, the amount of food collected will be enough to provide approximately 466 meals for families in need in the greater Atlanta area.

In addition to our food drive, we also took in an amazing $5,000 in cash donations to help the Medjesky family as they go through their recent battle with cancer. If you've ever been to a DOTD show, you know both Scott and Sam Medjesky as the masterminds behind our THAT DAMN TATTOO! Contest event, as well as our Tattoo Expo in Louisville. Sam is currently fighting through a cancer diagnoses and the money raised at our DOTD: Atlanta show will go a VERY long way towards helping them with medical bills and time missed from work to undergo treatment.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to extend a HUGE thank you to each and every person who has helped us kick off our year with an AMAZING boost to our charitable work. Thank you for helping us on our mission to show that horror fans are not only the most passionate fans in the world, but also the most generous.

Stay tuned as we announce our donation raffle winner and highest donation winner later today!
