I think a blue camo is the perfect bag to give a Type 1! Light Blue is the color of Diabetes Awareness and camo makes me think of our military-strong and determined. This bag was filled with crackers, juice boxes, chocolate, and glucose tabs! This bag was a bag designed to treat a low, & yes people with Diabetes can have chocolate! You still have time...how can you support Diabetes, check out the posts below on Dcubed for more ideas!
Tomorrow, Tuesday November 14, 2017 is WORLD DIABETES DAY! Here are a few ideas about how can you celebrate!!
*wear blue, lots of blue all day, or all week even.
*bring the Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetic you know an emergency "low kit" 2 juice boxes, 1 pack of peanut butter crackers, bag of skittles or M&M's.
*if you know a Diabetic Alert Dog get him a special treat. Jack recommends cookies from HollyWood Feed.
*if you know a family affected by Type 1 Diabetes offer to watch the k...id/kids for an evening so that Mom and Dad can go out for the evening. Type 1 parents don't get to do that often.
*Diabetes is expensive even with very good insurance, get a gift card to a local pharmacy that they can use for supplies
*sign up on Amazon Smile and support Dylan's Dogs for Diabetes with all of your upcoming holiday shopping.
*you can go to www.dcubed.org and make an online donation to help us continue change the face of diabetes one dog at a time.
*share this post with everyone you know!
