Long overdue. NEW WEBSITE featuring 100+ of my sound installations, downloadable scores, streamable albums and audio works, and other projects. Not every work i...s up, but this is mostly everything from the past 19 years of work. Best to view on a desktop for the full experience. Thank you to Suzanne Kite for helping me design this and Peter Mezensky for hosting.
Death Convention Singers: Brujas limited re-issue CD is available now at www.dizzinessoffreedom.com
Originally released as Sssk #30, this reissue, in co-operation with Dizziness of Freedom, is the last chance to own a physical copy of Death Convention Singers' 2007 recording: Brujas
Brujas was recorded in total darkness and by invitation only. The players were unaware of one another's identities, and multiple players entered and departed during the recording. The result is a brooding meditation of improvisational noise, created by unknown friends and strangers, ephemeral and lost in time and identity, and which can never be repeated.
Any Flagstaff friends? We are performing tonight for this exhibition. Members preview, but say you're with us and come see us and preview our newest installation.
We are going through video footage and audio recordings that have been collected from many of the Cameron Arizona uranium mining sites. Pieces of which will be used for an upcoming gallery opening DCS will be participating in. More details to come.
TOMORROW: Swing through ARTS Lab at 7 p.m. to hear us perform works by Pauline Oliveros, LaMonte Young, Mario Lavista, Brian Harnetty, along with frameworks for improvisation developed especially for the Tonal Relativity project.
