It doesn't matter if they call people "migrants" or "refugees" it's a crisis of neither. This is a crisis of capitalism and imperialist warmongers. Smash Fortress Europe! No One Is Illegal!
"Whilst the cops did manage to prevent the Nazis from reaching the refugee centre the situation was so intense that many antifascists struggled to even leave their cars safely. Among the mob were a lot of locals who tolerated, or even supported the attacks so it is hard to say if it was the far right structures that are responsible for initiating the violence but it is clear, that most of the citizens of the village jumped right into the situation because they share the same racism and hate towards refugees."
Staement issued by Derry Trades Union Council:

Solidarity action in Derry today at Free Derry Corner prior to today's rally against European governments' refusal to open their borders despite worldwide rage at the treatment of people escaping poverty and war across the Middle East instigated by imperialism.
Several hundred people gathered in the City's Guildhall Square as the 'great and the good' spoke of their horror at the unfolding crisis not seen in Europe since the 1930's.
As pointed out earlier, at the end of the... 1960's Derry witnessed itself one of the biggest refugee movements in Europe in a decade started as thousands of people fled loyalist pogroms in the north. By 1971 over 4,000 had fled across the border, by 1972 it was 10,000.
As the crisis continues and the anger at the lack of urgency to rectify the situation in a more humanitarian way by ‘our political leaders’ in Stormont, Westminster and of course in Europe, further protest actions are being planned in Derry and across both states in the coming days as communities and workplaces show initiative to organising events and collections. It is vital now that we show solidarity by taking part in these actions and remind those in power that no one is illegal!
Nonviolent Activist who was due to speak in Belfast says elements of the Israeli state "tried to kill" him. Please share!
As anger mounts against fortress europe, protest rallies will take place this week in both Belfast and Derry.
Derry: Thursday 3rd Sept. Guildhall Square 5pm
Belfast: Saturday 5th Sept. EU Commission Office 12pm

We argue for anarchism and for a revolutionary change in society. Like most socialists, we share a fundamental belief that capitalism is the problem. We believe... that as a system it must be ended, that the wealth of society should be commonly owned and that its resources should be used to serve the needs of humanity as a whole and not those of a small greedy minority.
Just as importantly, we see this struggle against capitalism as also being a struggle for freedom. We believe that socialism and freedom must go together, that we cannot have one without the other. Anarchism has always stood for individual freedom – freedom from oppression in all guises, including on the grounds of gender, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation.
Anarchism stands for democracy. We believe in democratising the workplace, in workers taking control of all industry and communities taking control of their localities and environments.
Capitalism will continue to destroy the world’s ecology and to foster hierarchy, exploitation and oppression in people’s lives. It doesn’t have to be this way. We believe that by actively growing, organising and resisting through social movements - like the fight against Irish Water - we can really change our communities and our lives.
So: - Organise! Organise! Organise! We have a world to win!
Neither Orange or Green: Capitalism is Crisis - Resistance is the Solution!
We are consistently lectured to and harangued by politicians as to how far we have come from the bad old days however when we’re told in the same breath that we should have more faith in them and their ‘peace progress’ and the achievements they have made. Granted things have changed to some extent in relation to the last four decades of war here but you can’t help to look around and be angered at the...
Continue ReadingToday, the activists of the autonomous worker s' Union and внеорганизационные kharkiv anarchists were made by its block on action in support of the кольченко and sentsov. The previous day's over the judicial process, in the course of which Sasha and Oleg were impressive timing: 10 and 20 years respectively.
Our main task is in terms of support for our comrade кольченко. The appeal of both the general public and либертарных community, to support in the form of letters and fina...ncial assistance.
An important is the fact that all либертарные activists at the shares of wearing masks or actively tried to turn a blind person. Thus, we would like to draw attention to crouch attempts of the Ukrainian authorities push the so-called "laws on January 16". One of the items is the prohibition to turn a blind person at public shares. The previous day in Kiev tried to apprehend the person for closed face on a similar acts. It had no legal basis and the man was released, but the trend is troubling.
Recall that at the 30 th of August in sкts "Bunker" will be held on the evening of letters политзаключенным.

On this day back in 1921:
On this day in 1921, the Battle of Blair Mountain began. The largest armed rebellion in the US since the civil war. For five days in late August and early Sept...ember, 1921 in Logan County, West Virginia, 10,000 striking coal miners battled with armed strikebreakers and federal troops following the killing of miners and their supporters in Welch and Sharples. Faced with the overwhelming firepower of US troops and even the air force, the miners eventually surrendered or returned to their homes.

Thank you to all those who have campaigned and acted in solidarity with our comrades detained in Belarus. All those who have donated and attended speaking tours, your support has made a difference. Finally, they may smell fresh air, openly see their loved ones, eat their own meals, break bread with their own friends for they have sacrificed so much already. We wish our freed comrades the best of health and a joyous life beyond a cage. You rebel, therefore we are.
