Happy Monday Whovians --- hope you are all enjoying the new level and have collected Saibra! Lovely to see that the actress, Pippa, is playing Doctor Who: Legacy, as is Samuel Anderson (Danny Pink). Too cool!!

We're aware that some of you (who perhaps don't frequent Twitch?) were surprised by the changes to 'stun all' characters. We don't do balancing moves like this very often.

Keep in mind that unlike some other games of the style, we don't limit the strength of individual allies you can bring in to combat, since we want you to be able to put together a team of allies of your choosing.

Having a team of stun all characters was making some content pretty trivial where that wasn't intended. Our end game was never intended to be a team of stun all characters and also that diminished the value of other allies and play styles.

The alternative was to make lots of content unstunnable, but that's not fun either, is it?

And finally, we do plan to add a Rank 6 for characters and they do need some room to grow / improve, which was impossible the way some of these stun characters turned out.

As always, though, we want to hear from you and we've already seen that there is a particularly passionate reaction to The Green Winder and Special Agent Amy Pond changes. We're looking into a further edit of their abilities which will bring them more inline with the intended change. They won't go back to what they were, but we'll try to better implement the change to them, which we admit was a little more heavy handed in their case than intended. Stay tuned for more on that, we hope to adjust them this week.

Thanks as always for your enthusiasm, passion and awesomeness -- and thanks, I hope, for trusting that we ALWAYS have the interests of the players in mind. This is your game as much as it is ours -- but our tough job is to consider ALL players and also what is coming down the road and from all that make a careful decision on game design. But we're not infallible and we always want to hear from you when you disagree with us.

thanks,

Susan C. and Lee C.
