Amazing- last week was trying to take my mum, my sister (who had travelled a long way) and my 1 year old son for lunch and got turned away from a non family friendly place. A delivery driver recommend...ed the Dog and Bear so we headed there. Sister popped in to ask of they had highchairs and in the time she took to come out and tell us we could go in, they had set up a table and high chair for us with a 'reserved' sign! Lunch and service was lovely- a waitress appeared out of nowhere with crayons and paper when my baby started fussing! Wonderful, down to earth place that we will go to again now we've found it. Thank you for a wonderful short stay. Faultless in every way. This establishment is beautifully run. A completely delightful experience. In the words of Fu Manchu, "I shall return." :)

Food was perfectly delicious! Service was less than perfect. Didn't feel we were given a warm welcome. Had to call staff over to table to order drinks etc. No table check back. Otherwise a pleasant lu...nch. Would recommend food! See More

My room was a single room had better bathroom was not very clean but some time when you book a single room for a male that's what you get !
But putting that aside the staff and food made up for it
The... young lady who's name I forgot who looked after us for breakfast was really good and the full English was one ☝️ of the best I have had
So to sum up my night apart from my room would go back again so don't be put of with my comments

Absolutely lovely roast. We all enjoyed it. The service was impeccable.

The only thing that bothered us was pudding. We are definitely a family of custard lovers but not custard to be seen (sad fa...ce).

I had apple pie and cinnamon ice cream which was amazing. Although I'd say it's a tart rather than a pie as no lid.

We would definitely visit again as the food is so tasty and the atmosphere is really friendly.

Thank you all (smiley face).

Lovely little hotel in Lenham village, a lovely little village that has everything you need. Our room was lovely and very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn't have dinner there w...e had fish n chips from Chequers across the road but breakfast at the hotel in the morning was great and plenty of it. Will definitely be staying again. See More

Hello my name is Julie Bailey and I tried to leave you a message on Facebook re my Macmillan coffee morning and was wondering if you would be able to donate a prize for my raffle or silent auction.

I... raised money two years ago and raised £700 and want to do this again and more.

I have had breast cancer and so has my mother and my mother in law died of this.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you in advance.

We have eaten a few times here and the food is fabulous

My new husband & I booked the whole of the hotel for our guests to stay after our wedding at the Tithe Barn in Lenham on the 18th July 2015. From booking, changing rooms, making sure everyone was cate...red for you were very helpful & accommodating. The rooms were beautiful & all of our guests were looked after brilliantly. The staff were lovely on the morning of our wedding & were there on hand to help when we needed.
We have already booked a room to come & stay with you again next year for our 1st wedding anniversary :-)
Thanks again for all your help.

We only stayed for one night which was a shame as it's a lovely hotel with a really lovely feel about it. The room was really nice (room 11) and the staff so friendly.
