Went to Sturminster Newton today to help out at Handmade for Christmas at the Workhouse Chapel .There is an abundance of lovely things there to buy for Christmas presents. Was I tempted to buy ? YES!
I greeted and "meeted" and made tea and coffee for people as they came through the door, it was a lovely atmosphere to browse and shop in ,oh and there was a roaring log burner to warm your toes 😀

Dogsinstitches textiles by Sue Britton added 2 new photosthinking about doing something different.

Dogsinstitches characters are mainly stitched in brown thread on a cream felt so the detail really shows up, but sometimes I get asked to stitch characters on brown or black felt, like these two pictures of the character 'bundle.'

All my characters are inspired by dogs I meet on walks in Dorset or on my hols. Sometimes I name the dog after I've stitched it and sometimes a name comes into my head based on my experiences and then this inspires a character! ( Like Roller)
Our dog Merlot likes to roll in the sand amongst other less pleasant things!
