We exceeded our original three week goal. We raised a total of $10,000 overall. A lot of people were assisted with food, medicine, cleaning supplies and temporary hotels because of it. Thank you so much to everyone who shared our fundraiser, those who interviewed us, those who donated funds, dropped off items or delivered items. It has been a real emotional experience providing mutual aid during this pandemic. As we watched the numbers of sick climb all through March we saw s...o many individuals and groups take action despite the fear. We are in April and over 4,000 lives have already been lost in the U.S. with staggering projections possible in the near future. We are tasked with continuing in such an uncertain time. We will do it though with compassion and empathy and with a vision to not return to the oppression we settled for before this virus emerged. We hope that we can come out of this creating a better society that benefits all and not just the rich elites. Be safe. All Power To The People!
