I'm asking for donations to APEDF's Black Power Blueprint initiative to support the new Uhuru House community center being built in St Louis, plus the demolition of 2 dilapidated buildings for an outdoor venue, and building out a commercial kitchen with a workforce training program for formerly incarcerated community members.
I've chosen this nonprofit because their mission is not charity but African-led liberation and self-determination, empowering the African working class in St Louis in brilliant, strategic, and tangible ways. I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me.
