    Tell your Oklahoma Representative and Senator that by continuing the war on drugs, they are in fact making the streets less safe for your children and grandchildren by giving more power and control to drug cartels.

    Tell them it's time to Repeal Prohibition!

    I guess it should not surprise me that when legislators say they need more information, rather than looking at extensive research that has been done over the years, and, ironically ignored by presidents and other law makers, they look to th...e AMA, a bureaucracy that benefits from the criminalization of cannabis.

    This was a report by the Shafer Commission in 1972. Nixon was not happy with the findings and completely ignored it. This is not the only study by the government that makes the same conclusions. We have been duped, folks, for many, many years.

    "At present, however, considerable confusion and uncertainty exists among both the general and professional publics, among youth and adults, and among marihuana users and non-users about the relationship between marihuana and criminal, aggressive or delinquent behavior. The confusion and uncertainty stem from a general lack of knowledge and understanding about the effects of the drug, including its potential for physical addiction. Many persons are still under the misapprehension that marihuana is addicting and that crimes are committed in order to support a drug "habit."
