不知您仍否記得,無國界醫生之所以成立,是因為國際紅十字會在比夫拉戰爭中保持沉默。
「我不想重蹈覆轍。」Bernar...d Kouchner,無國界醫生其中一位創辦人如是說。

前無國界醫生主席 James Orbinski 在 1999 年接受諾貝爾和平獎時,曾致辭道:
沉默往往與中立混為一談,而且也被視為人道救援工作中的必要條件。從無國界醫生的成立之初,就是為了推翻這種假設。我們不敢說,一言半句就能夠命;但我們敢肯定,沉默必會殺人。
如果您能夠看看歷史,您便能從歷史中學習得到,人類未能從歷史中好好學習。

If you could remember why MSF was established — in response to the commitment to remain silent made by the Red Cross during the war in Biafra.
“I did not want to repeat the mistake of the ICRC”, wrote Bernard Kouchner, one of the MSF co-founder.

Dr. James Orbinski, former President of MSF International, accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999 and delivered the following speech during the ceremony —
Silence has long been confused with neutrality, and has been presented as a necessary condition for humanitarian action. From its beginning, MSF was created in opposition to this assumption. We are not sure that words can always save lives, but we know that silence can certainly kill.

3. 職員小巴暫停服務,期望在黃昏下班時段能夠回復正常。
4. 未能於下午到達門診的病人,可以致電另約時間。
