By far the best place to eat in cork city top class food top class friendly staff, a very warm and welcoming decor. I would strongly recommend the spice beef salad to start with and the homemade raspb...erry and white chocolate cheesecake to finish with if your looking for an amazing meal out, this is the place to go top marks. A very green interior but lovely none the less, ordered the fish & chips (cant go wrong?),i wish i could say better due to the nice staff but what i got was a shameful excuse of the everyday classic, ...the fish was in the shape of a perfect isosceles triangle!! had very little batter compared to fish, while the fish itself tasted quite fishy/ unfresh.it was either frozen , bought in or (hopefully not) made fresh and since another person i was eating with ordered it as well ,both fish looked idential is shape?, no excuses for an easy dish ... Coffee arrived 10 mins before lunch. Had to get water for our table myself. Pancakes were not like pancakes, but others happy with their sandwiches , which wasn't on bread but crusty rolls. So I advise... asking what kind of bread when you order. I won't go back See More

Drakes has a very restful feeling. Food is really tasty and the staff are very attentive and friendly. It's ideal for lunch and great place for dinner. You never feel rushed and I highly recommend it.

Good food, friendly staff, nice ambiance. I can certainly recommend Drakes Bistro & Wine Bar. Didn't sample the wines. Had to drive back to County Limerick. :)

This was my first time venturing into Drake's. Lovely cozy little restaurant . My husband and son had the pancakes for breakfast and they loved them! I just had coffee but it was a very nice blend. Th...e only downside was they didn't do soya milk:( See More

For the first time in the 7(!) years I've been in Ireland, I have enjoyed a lovely, well prepared steak! A perfect evening with brilliant food. My brother had the venison which was very good. My frien...d and I both devoured our rib eye steak, cooked to perfection . Desserts were amazing!
Will come back for sure!! See More

Personally expected a little more sparkle to breakfast . Service was good. Restaurant has a nice setting but breakfast was fair/ good. Maybe it's known for dinner. Id go back
