On a sunny and warm Thursday in February our vegan family of three had an excellent lunch at the Driving Creek Cafe. While the whole town of Coromandel was overflowing with tourists and stuffy and hot... the lush, green bush environment of the cafe made for a welcome change of scenery. We chose the Harty Miso Soup which was beautifully presented, came in a very large and full bowl and tasted delicious. We also had a good soy cappuccino. We will be back! See More

We made multiple visits on business trips Me and 3 others. Months apart. And on both occasions have come across the employer yelling at staff members who ended in tears. Not very professional. On th...e last visit. There were rats I'm talking size of cats running in the garden. I won't be returning which is sad. Because the food and staff were lovely. Get better soon driving creek cafe. Lovely find. The complete opposite of every high street chain cafe. Lovely rustic feel to the place. Friendly staff. You gotta love a cafe selling second hand books too...

Favourite caf茅 for coffee, delicious, nutritious food, venue and people! Kids love climbing the tree and picking a table outside in the garden! The only place to go for a relaxing time with whanau and... friends! The second hand books are a great addition too! Always look forward to our time here! See More

Favourite place to go! Awesome food (& shakes) awesome peaceful atmosphere (especially when there's no screaming kids & Aucklanders with dogs) - definitely recommend 锟斤拷

Lovely staff and amazing food, shame about the new owner/manager absolutely no people skills, extremely rude. Unfortunately won't be returning because of the experience.

To be honest, I have never been there. The 5 stars go to the young lady that is about to take over.

I loved this cafe, great coffee. If you need a book to read while on holiday this is the place to go, I thought I had walked into a library...

Lovely atmosphere, great food & service. Nice to see all the families sitting under the canopy of trees enjoying lunch on the Keltic Fair Day. The sounds are rather cool too! :)

For everyone who saw this little guy and worried about him being in the drain in our driveway, the story has a happy ending. He is now living with the lovely Sarah Brooks at the Mahamudra Centre and is well on the way to becoming (probably) the first Buddhist Possum in the world. 馃檹
