Small but well put together restaurant
, good atmosphere , though a bit cramped when it got busy Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food wasn’t the best Indian Food we’ve ever had but it was ...very good. The fried okra was excellent as was the butter chicken tiki masala. We were celebratin g a birthday and the presentati on of the dessert with the sparkling torch and accompanyi ng music was unexpected fun.
le spot you could miss if u don't know about it. This place needs 5 stars or 10. Food has a unique flavor to it. Chicken tikka's were great, chilly cheese toast was from heaven, and shish ka...bab was mind blowing. Great loungish feel, cozy and tucked away. Nice hangout for buddies or a date. Would highly recommend! !!!!!!!!!!
ly buzzing bar with excellent Ambience, food and a real fun place to be- watching people happily enjoying their exclusive drinks, well done barbecued kebabs, paneer and the scrumptiou s cri...sp okras which are out of this world! Delicious meals both vegetarian and non- vegetarian all delightful , delicious and differentl y Indian! Regulars come in and the new comers promise to visit again and again! You must try the "Paani puri" and Biryani!
This place was close to our hotel and recommende
d by hotel staff. We had dinner and drinks and then brunch the next morning. Dinner was vindaloo pork, Chana masala, and some type of tapas flavor bit...es. Cocktails were unique and tasty. Try the dark and stormy👌🏻 Brunch was the real treat as I hadn't tried Indian breakfast. Crepes with ground lamb and some unique dressings. Quite crowded for dinner but easy to get in for brunch. Playful ambience and solid service will make this a treat if I'm passing through again.
Drunken Munkey exceeded my expectatio
ns!!! My friend and I met here for drinks because we heard they had a fun cocktail list which they did but the food and the atmosphere were phenomenal !!! The mutto...n Kababs were my favorite!! ! Plus the bartender Juan was AWESOME! I will definitely be heading back to this place!
British Colonial Indian cuisine. The Lamb Pao was amazing! Cool tunes. Very friendly and efficient staff. A great stop while cheering on the runners!
(I'm a tough rater, so don't think the 4 star rating is a criticism.
) Very nice vibe. Very good food. And a really nice, friendly, and helpful bartender/ waitperson. Sort of, I imagine, what a gentleme...n's club in Bombay maybe have felt like during the Raj. I must say that that was a tad disquietin g, but it was, neverthele ss, a very interestin g feel, and the food was very good.
I will definitely
go back. Downside: I think this is the spot in Manhattan furthest from a subway stop. At least it felt that way. But definitely not a reason not to go back.
I will definitely
Super cool spot, food is excellent and the staff was perfect...
.... a must if you enjoy great food, cool atmosphere and fantastic servers and service... .
I love this place! Great food and cocktails.
However, I was a little disappoint ed with the Kedgeree I had today. I have had this a couple of times before and it was presented with naan over the top... of the bowl and there was more salmon. When I commented on this to the waitress, she said it had always been made this way. Not true!
A warm and intimate space of just the right size to hold a small party comfortabl
y. Ordered the Garden Vegetable Korma and savored its buttery texture and aromatic spices. Also ordered a side of Bomba...y Aloo, simply small cubed potatoes with cooked in spicy goodness. The plate was completed with rice and Nan bread and a small tub of yogurt sauce. Everything delicious! Washed everything down with a glass of Malbec -- one of just several superb wines in stock I am sure. Hoping for a return visit soon.

This is a must go place in NYC. Loved the food. Being an Indian, we ordered 4 different things for dinner and bingo, they were cooked to perfection
