This webinar discusses federal, California, and other state laws regarding harassment. It emphasizes the “gray areas” where good people with no bad intent sometimes engage in problematic conduct. It explores not only sexual but also racial, ethnic and other forms of unlawful harassment and provides guidance on the affirmative responsibilities of supervisors, such as when and how to report complaints properly.
* California law requires employers with 50 or more employees to provide two hours of sexual harassment training to all new supervisors within six months of their assumption of a supervisory position as well as retraining every two years. Participation in this webinar will fulfill these training requirements without the expense of on-site classroom training.
