Today marks our 5th Anniversary, and what a journey it’s been. First of all, we would like to thank you all for your support and dedication you’ve shown towards the site - We’ve received an overwhelming amount of love, even through our toughest of times.

Today we’re delighted to announce some big changes that are going to be happening over the next few months. We’re currently in the process of recoding the entirety of Dubtrack; Both front-end *(what you see, the client)* and... back-end *(the server)*. The new code will be much simpler, cleaner, and more maintainable. This means we can start adding all those super cool features all of you have been suggesting to us for months and months. Not only that, we aim to make it a much more robust system to prevent the annoying downtime we get every now and then. The whole look and feel of Dubtrack will change, but the core functionality of it will still be there. While we have nothing to show off right now, development of the new system is well under way and we’re looking forward to showing you what we’ve done.

Last night we pushed a major update which was crucial to me, but also to the success of dubtrack. What we did was create our own real-time socket system, which saves me around $2000 a month. With any major update, even though we tested thoroughly on our staging server, comes bugs. We are aware of the guest count issue which we have a fix for and we'll be pushing that later on tonight. I also want to apologize for the 2 hours of downtime during the update proces...s. We had a few things that went wrong and took us some time to track down and to fix them. We also pushed a few minor front-end updates and fixes ( nothing worth mentioning ) other than profile load fix. So, when you visit a profile with a lot of followers, you won't have to wait forever for things to load.
