The School of Education hosted a lunchtime celebration to welcome its students and introduce new dean Dr. Cindy Walker (sporting the pink Duquesne t-shirt and standing next to the Pirate Parrot)!

Congratulations to the Class of 2020, who were officially welcomed into the Duquesne family today at Matriculation, a University tradition!

Did you know that 21% of the new Class of 2020 have a Duquesne University graduate in their family?

The Office of Alumni Relations hosted these legacy families at a special breakfast, during which the freshmen placed their thumbprints on a canvas of branches while their family members placed theirs on the roots to make a special "family tree" for the new incoming class of Duquesne students!

New President Ken Gormley and his wife Laura spent the morning greeting new freshmen and their parents/families during Move-In Day.

The Gormleys, who even jumped in to help some families unpack their cars and move belongings to their kids' rooms, have twice been through Move-In at Duquesne as parents--first with son Luke and then with daughter Rebecca.

Duquesne University hosted another successful Move-In Day on campus. Thanks to all of the students, staff, employees and volunteers who make an undertaking of this size this go smoothly for our new students and their families!

Freshman Move-In continues at Duquesne University!

More than 1,550 freshmen and their families are expected on campus today for Move-In Day! Welcome to campus!

Duquesne University offices will be closed Monday, August 15, in observance of the Assumption of Mary. Offices will re-open on Tuesday, August 16.
