Here's a link to a snippet of Nodus' DnB remix and we'll upload Powello Bros one next week....
Everyone else who took part, thanks so much for entering! You're welcome to upload your own remixes to wherever you want and have them as free downloads if credited correctly.
If you don't use any of that hypeddit bullshit I'll repost it on the Dutty soundcloud as well x
DJ BINGE (Big band DJ/Producer) has a sexier side.
He's the man with the ear for Funk and Soul and well...just straight up O.G. sleaze.
This mix I know was inspired by DJ Skully's "Gully Breaks", sadly a mix made before internet uploading was a thing, if you ever track it down grab it! (Dear lord Binge made me listen to that a lot when I showed him it)
"Gully Breaks" and "O.G. Breaks" are both mixtapes made of famous breaks/samples, earworms you should know because they're t...he original samples from songs.
There's a reason you can often see Binge supporting Craig Charles.
131 tunes crammed into one mix and you'll know most of the songs without realising it. Now that is the art of DJ-ing!
lovely mix from DJ BINGE - check it out x
Too Many T's feat Alexa
We've made the worlds first track featuring Alexa the robot!
Think she's got that commercial edge we need to go big time 😂
Seriously tho, this was such a techni...cal challenge that we've ploughed LOADS of time into. If you have an Alexa, play her this version so she can sing along with us: https://youtu.be/Y5uCus9BjP8
CLICK SOUND ON & ENJOY!!!
Produced by our DJ extrordinaire Savage Henry
(This is not an advert or anything, we're just nerdy lil rappers who think Auto-tune is whack, so we made it jokes!)
Everyone ready to hear another track from "Most Wanted: Remixed"?
Crash Party on the remix tip of "Bang Bang"
Ladies and Gentleman we are very happy to announce to you;
The Puppini Sisters!!!!
When you start out retro, you don’t expect to become true ori...ginals – but that’s the position The Puppini Sisters (Marcella Puppini, Kate Mullins and Emma Smith) are delighted to find themselves in. In the ten years since they began, it’s extraordinary how many others have followed their trailblazing lead, whether it’s the gorgeous close harmony singing style, the swing-style re-workings of modern pop songs, or their impeccable retro-futuristic fashion sense.
With four albums under their waist-cinching belts and a fifth ‘The Highlife’ set for release this March, the Puppini Sisters are now regarded as the world’s leading close-harmony group, and count Prince Charles, The Manhattan Transfer and Michael Bublé amongst their fans.
The group was founded in 2004 by Marcella Puppini after she was inspired by the film The Triplets of Belleville (2003) by Sylvain Chomet and it’s Oscar nominated film soundtrack by Benoit Charest, and in 2005 they were signed by Universal Classics and Jazz. They released their first album ‘Betcha Bottom Dollar’ in 2006, produced by the Oscar nominated Charest – the album was labelled the fastest selling jazz album of all time when it hit no. 1 in the UK Jazz Charts and subsequently went gold.
The Puppini Sister’s television appearances include Royal Variety Show, The Graham Norton Show, Strictly Come Dancing, Loose Women, This Morning, Big Brother’s Little Brother, Hell’s Kitchen, Jonathan Creek, The View (on ABC), Carole King and Friends at Christmas (BBC4), The Late Late Show, The View (US) and Michael Buble’s Christmas Special on NBC.

I'm often trying to find the right style of mix and I found the bastard!
Something that's the perfect blend of Jazz but not cheesy lift Jazz or that weird Nord chord Jazz that I don't get why people are into it so much.
Something that also has a sense of repetition in the beats, drawing from a broken beat so as not to distract too much.
Something that has a soothing effect on a permanent base level of anxiety.
I can't tell you how many Jazz Hip Hop/Trip Hop/Lofi/Jazz mixtapes I've trawled through.
Well... Nuno Endo nailed it, nice one boss!!
Holy crap look how young we all look!
Just nicked this photo off Defunk Instagram. Throwback from a tour date in Leeds.

We're all still doing the same stuff we're just looking a bit more weathered now.
Me gal Emily Ingman Artwork and Tattoos is tattooing mates at the moment getting swotted up as an apprentice.
She needed to do a colour tattoo this week and no mates were available so old muggins mcgee volunteered a leg.
Got a bird done by my bird!
Go give Em's page a like, she's going to be smashing it soon!
Just to remind everyone the deadline for the Dutty Moonshine Big Band remix competition is this Friday!
We want to listen to them this weekend and announce the winner Monday....
I really recommend sending in your entry no matter what. The last person to win a Dutty remix comp wasn't "technically" the best but it was interesting and unique so we worked with the guy after the comp to tweak some stuff and make it more slickly produced.
Good luck honkies!!!
