George Scott for Congress

It's time to lace our boots up, hit the pavement, and keep marching on to the general election. WE NEED YOU, and here's how you can help OUR mission to win in N...ovember and ensure ALL people of the 10th District are represented in Congress:

-Host a house party! Introduce me to your friends, family, or colleagues, regardless of their political affiliation.

-Sign up to phone bank, canvass, data entry or even just share this page.

-Invite me to events, to your workplace, or to your organization! This is a grassroots campaign and the people are my priority. If there's an event, place, or group that's important to you, let me know and I'll do my best to attend.

-Donate or host a fund raising event!

To get started, click the link below and let's begin the #marchtovictory!

Sean Quinlan for State House

Here we go, friends! We made it through petitioning and the primary. Onward and upward to the general election in November. Voter registration is not our friend.... We're likely going to be outspent. My greatest foe is one of the largest well-financed lobbying organizations in the country, the NRA, with whom my opponent enjoys an "A" rating.

But still we persist.

Marsha and I ran for the State Senate in 2004. Two of us, a beat up Isuzu Trooper, a few thousand yard signs and Veda, our black lab. We had time, no kids and a lot of laughs. We got exactly what we asked for and lost.

Things are different now. We have two kids, our own businesses and a sense of duty to serve our community and fight for our children and their future. The stakes are high. We need to fight for every vote, win the seat and continue the fight for legislation that brings that brighter future closer to reality.

Earlier this year, it took a large, coordinated and determined team of volunteers to circulate petitions and get us on the ballot at all. Now, we need a much larger, equally determined and professional team.

Many of you have asked over the last few months how you can help. The following thankless, completely voluntary positions are available:

Campaign Manager
Communications Director
Social media Coordinator
Fundraising Director
Events Coordinator
Volunteer Coordinator
Canvassing Coordinator (door to door)

If you're interested in any of the above, reach out to me directly at spqesq@gmail.com, through this page or the website at votequinlan.org.

In addition:

We need people to host in-home fundraisers (not necessarily in the district)
We need people to volunteer off and on all summer and fall, evenings, weekends and on election day, November 6, 2018.
We need financial contributors.

If you're interested in contributing, checks can be made out to:

"Friends of Sean Quinlan"

And mailed to:

2331 Market Street
Camp Hill PA 17011

ACTION ALERT: We just learned that there will be a House State Government Committee voting meeting TOMORROW, April 11, at 10:30 AM in the Ryan Building, Room 20...5.
We’ve been told it’s on HB 722- although that has not been officially publicized.
The meeting was announced at the close of session today by Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, after Rep. Steve Samuelson announced from the session floor his intent to bring a discharge petition to try to move HB 722 from the State Government Committee. The earliest the discharge petition could be voted on would be Monday, April 16.
According to House Rules, “The chair of the committee or subcommittee shall notify all members, at least 24 hours in advance of the date, time and place of regular meetings, and, insofar as possible, the subjects on the agenda.”
None of the bill sponsors were notified of the meeting, none were invited to speak on it, and no one expects an open process or fair, honest discussion of the bill.
We would like to have as many people there as possible to observe and to make clear that we expect our representatives to represent us.
No signs, and no comment from observers will be allowed, but feel free to wear FDPA tee shirts and pins.
There’s room for about 100 so no worries about getting a seat. Please come if you can.
