This organization gives me the opportunity to help K-3 kids learn to be better readers. To me, literacy is of crucial importance, and Experience Corps Bay Area gives me the opportunity to make a d...ifference in children lives. It's one of the most direct ways I know of to be of service to the community and the nation.
Experience Corps provides excellent ongoing training to give us the tools and techniques we need. It also introduces us to other like minded people, so we can give each other mutual support and make new friends.
