We've acquired a new server that nearly doubles our disk space and the speeds are much faster. We'll get things moved soon!

Another 450 ISOs added, this time it's for the NEC PC Engine CD. Enjoy.

Over 450 Sega CD ISOs have been added!

350+ Dreamcast ISOs have been added. All scene rips, meaning everyone's favorite disc format, CDI!

edge|emulation was celebrating New Year's Eve.

after a long hiatus in updates, edge|emulation has been moved to a new, more reliable server. not all the downloads have returned, but we have the latest MAME set available along with a full dump of Saturn and 3DO games. More ISO-based systems are incoming. We've revamped the site a bit, sadly had to remove some features but hopefully they will return!

So the current edge|emulation logo has been in use since we started the place back in 2000 - yes, the site is starting to hit puberty. Perhaps an enterprising fan could design us something new? Winner gets a limited-time FTP account to everything on the site.

Question for you all.

Do you prefer having the 7z of every hack and dump inside the zip, or would you prefer a single file inside the ZIP that has the known-good dump? There are different schools of thought here - a single file inside the ZIP makes it easier to load in an emulator, where as the 7z has every known copy and hack inside (what we do currently). I'm afraid we can't package every single hack and dump individually, that's a lot of overhead. Let me know your thoughts!

The forums have been shut down thanks to spambots. ReCAPTCHA sucks, apparently.

We're due for an overhaul. Know fancy javascript and/or mobile development? Give us a holler.

And we're back. And nothing has been lost.

Good news everyone! The hosting company has replaced our server with something with some more power, and the data is fully in tact. It will take a bit of time to restore everything but rest assured, we'll be back up and running soon!

A 750GB drive has died, we're looking to try and restore some of the data. Not sure when it'll come back. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Neo-Geo CD and 3DO ISOs are going to be disappearing in the near future. Room needs to be made for MAME updates, which is much more popular. Grab 'em while they're still around.

Back online. Sorry for the troubles.
