5sterEvery time I have called and needed them they were there so fast. I had an intoxicated man break into mine, my son, and ...sisters apartment a few years back. They were there in less than 5 minutes. They removed him from our place, as well as stayed to make sure I was calm as I was very shook up from the incident. I also live in an area with a lot of prostituti on and drug dealing that goes on in a parking lot across from my house. I have called on numerous occasions, they have come and dealt with it. The eps has also set up a neighbourh ood watch in our neighbourh ood so thank you for keeping our city safe. Meer weergeven

That's an opposite of what i experiencehere with Edmonton Police.
My son's phone was stolen, never a chance that i think we'll get it back, after few searches and info i provided, cellphone was recovered.For a moment, i thought cases like this will be buried and forgotten, it's way below the priority level, but they never gave up, they follow the lead and in a day, got the phone back.

Earlier this month, EPS received FOUR separate Curb the Danger calls on this one driver at 11:40 in the morning. Witnesses saw this driver hit multiple curbs, nearly-miss the centre median, speed, swerve around vehicles, almost hit a motorcyclist, and rip off the driver-side sun visor from his vehicle and toss it outside. He was then seen speeding through a residential area and drove onto a curb.
EPS arrived and conducted a traffic stop. When members approached the driver, th...ey noted a strong liquor smell from the vehicle and from the driver’s breath. The driver slurred and mumbled his words when he tried to answer our members and was unable to turn off his vehicle and pass the keys to our officer. At this time, officers believed he was unable to operate a motor vehicle and he was arrested for impaired driving.
When the driver exited his vehicle, he could barely stand and had to lean against his vehicle in order to stay on his feet. Our officers had to assist the driver to the patrol vehicle because he could not walk on his own.
At the police station, the driver refused to provide a breath sample and was subsequently charged.
The four witnesses who called to Curb the Danger deserve a great thank you for helping take this driver off the road. If you ever see a suspected impaired driver, call 911 to Curb the Danger
