Too hard to win any scholarships. Been entering for the last 3 1/2 years. Points mean nothing from what I can tell.

My name is Kathrine. I am going back to school to finish my degree in nursing. (Which was put on hold to take care of my brother whom was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Later died and I promised him I... would finish. I would like to do just that.) I do not qualify for any financial aid. I am $200.00 over the limit and I have to find my own way. I hope this will help me find my pot of gold at the end of the tunnel. Thank you See More

I think this site is a great way to try to win scholarship, but it's actually really, really hard to win something no matter how many points you accumulate. You have one in however many chances to try... to win something that is computer generated. The computer basically chooses who wins. I've been at this for a while and I'm already almost graduating and just applied to grad school. I think it's getting harder and harder to win, especially when I noticed the last scholarship one of the winners still won a scholarship after the three day mark. I checked constantly and saw that they hadn't accepted and still got the money. Normally it's supposed to be there for three days before they have to choose another winner.

It wasn't fair to anyone who checks the winners page and keeps tabs on how long a certain winner has not accepted the prize. If the winner goes more than three days of not accepting a prize then choose someone else. That's the reason why it's 4 stars and not 5.

Put up more scholarships so we have more chances to win. And as usual, I hope to at least win something before the school year ends because it would be amazing to get something for grad school if I get accepted.

My name is Amanda. I am a senior at La Salle University. I have been on ScholarshipPoints for over a year and I love it. Not only is it an effective way to win scholarships, but it is also fun! I love... filling out surveys and earning points that I can spend in any way I want in order to win scholarships! This site also helps academically, giving specific checklists depending on your school level. I love it. See More

Hi, I'm William Espinosa, a resident living in Homestead, FL. When I first heard about My Scholarship Points, I joined since April 2011 but so far have never won a scholarship at although I've been tr...ying real hard and praying to win at least one. I've tried other options like Fastweb but chose this website because I've heard its the easiest way to earn scholarships without needing to write a long essay or have a specific GPA. However, it seems you need to log on everyday and keep on completing those surveys to earn lots of points. I stopped following the site around 2014 but decided to come back recently and start saving up a lot of points. I've already graduated college since June 2013 and my dream is to become a dedicated computer technician. I live with a limited income and and still receive support from my parents. It would be really helpful in covering my student debt loans. I'm also eager to continue studying and hopefully succeed in earning my next degree. This is literally my third time entering for a scholarship so far. Would also be really helpful if they posted bonus codes more often but thanks! See More

I need help looking for scholarships that I can apply for. Recently graduated a week ago and I'm eager to get started on any educational opportunity there is! I'm looking at Mountain View Community Co...llege to start my basics, and then start leaning towards a university that will help me focus on my majors, Creative Writing and Political Science (I want to try and double major since I love to write and I love debating and politics). I don't mind traveling away from home, as long as my pockets can let stretch as far as I can. I love adventure, as well as helping out not just the less fortunate but... Also the little people who are looked over in society.

In a nutshell I need help in searching for scholarships that'll not only benefit me financially but educationally and socially because if it'll lead me to better ways to head to college then I'm up for the challenge!!! Thank you so much!!

I think there are too many survey sites that makes you register each time. I think there should be a lot more other available ways to earn points.

EDVISORS is a group of spamming liars who just want to capture your personal information and sell it to others. Since they got my email address, my spam has jumped 5000%. They do not take your name o...ff their email lists l when you change your subscription preferences. No matter how many times I unsubscribe, they continue with spam. And their advice is worthless. You can do better elsewhere without compromising your personal info. See More

Is the College Waitlist Just Another Way to Torture Our Kids?

In what world does it make sense to offer more spots on a college waitlist than spots offered for admission, especially for schools who have consistently high yield rates (meaning a large percentage of students accept their offer of admission)?
