We're now at 80.32 percent of the vote, and 19,313 votes are the most that Rox has ever received. Thank you for all of this and more, Bellingham!

People continue to worry about what the opponent is saying about me. Yes, right before the General Election, I received a notice from the Public Disclosure Commission that the opponent filed a complaint that I defamed him through this Facebook page. I opted to respond to that swiftly, even though the response wasn’t due until Nov. 13. To put it simply, I argued in a thoughtful way that there was no violation and if this is defamation, the opponent defamed himself. I will see how the PDC responds, but I’m really not worried about it. The opponent lost, miserably. Ignore him and let’s move on!

With the latest ballot count, we're now sitting in 80.05 percent of the vote. BOOM!

We won! Eternal thanks go to everyone who supported this campaign. Love prevailed, and Roxanne will continue to do whatever she can to protect our values and our community. Thank you so much, City of Bellingham!

Today is the day! Get your ballots into a drop box by 8 p.m. so our community will hopefully have even more reasons to celebrate! So many thanks go to the vast majority of people who are supporting this campaign! #ROXTHEVOTE!

The opponent is suggesting that Roxanne stole his yard signs. She works full time, serves as your Bellingham City Councilmember, At-Large, and is managing this campaign. There's no time for anything like this. She also respects people's right to run for office, which she has said again and again throughout this campaign. The only thing she hopes to steal is a killer election night tomorrow! RoxTheVote!

Hey! It’s Roxanne here! Many are kindly expressing concern for me as they continue to see Facebook ads from the opponent’s campaign that are attempts to hurt me. Let me just say that he’s obviously not the first person who has tried so steadfastly to oppress me as a female and a Native. This is also why I hope more women and diverse people will run for office! Resilience is what we know best! And, when most people see these ads, it has generally prompted more to vote to re-elect me. I’m just praying to the Ancestors that justice will prevail on Nov. 7. #RoxTheVote!

So many in Bellingham value conservation, recreation and education. Rox earned the sole endorsement of the Washington Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club; she is an avid athlete via hiking, skiing, yoga and cycling 100 miles in a day (twice); and she earned a master's degree in public administration from The Evergreen State College. Even better, she is completing her third year without a drop of alcohol or any substance. Strong person and leader, clear thinking, healthy values and your Bellingham candidate. #RoxTheVote by Nov. 7!

Time is running out! Please vote by Nov. 7!

Rox started out in life as a foster kid, and since her adoptive family has passed, she still considers herself to be a proud Ward of Washington State. That's just one more reason why she loves the relationship with the Bellingham community. The votes and support from this greater Bellingham family will help Rox prove again and again that at-risk youth can be just as successful as anyone else. #RoxTheVote by Nov. 7!

Rox is still winning in fundraising, endorsements, campaign work and great community support. She also outperformed her opponent during the candidate forums. Now, we just hope that you'll join the party in voting to Retain Roxanne by Nov. 7!

Ballots for the Nov. 7 election are due in one week for Whatcom County, Washington, elections for Bellingham City Council, County Council and Port of Bellingham.

Qualifications mean so much when you’re applying for a job and this race for the job of serving as the Bellingham City Councilmember, At-Large, is no different. Please select the most qualified candidate, by far, and RoxTheVote by Nov. 7!
