"The limitations you embrace regulate the blessings you experience." Pastor Steven Furtick #GatesOfChange
12-year-old Wesley Brokop serves in Motion because he feels like he can connect with that age group and he says that, “I like hanging out with my eTeam.” You’re right, Wesley. You're making a difference for our Elevation eKidz every week. Thank you for leading the way. Sign up for e101 and see what God can do through you.
"My eGroup shifted my perspective of what community is. I was always looking for people to connect with that shared my interests and I found that through an Upt...own eGroup. We are a family and I love that we get the opportunity to serve on various eTeams on campus. We celebrate each other and walk through struggles with each other, like when I recently lost my brother. My eGroup was the first people to show me love, prayer and support. They reminded me that 'The voice you believe will determine the future you will experience' from Crash the Chatterbox that we walked through together. It reminded me of Gods’ faithfulness even when I didn’t feel it. I don’t know how I would have managed my brothers passing without the support of my eGroup. I am honored to lead this group and so excited to see what God will do through us in the coming years." Chris #elevationegroups

Roy's story encouraged our church this weekend. Is it time for you to declare a fresh start and let God build something new in your life?
"When my family moved to North Carolina for a fresh start, I had no idea my world would soon come crashing down. Six months after we purchased a home, my wife Nancy died suddenly of a heart attack. Just as I began to come to terms with the daily grief, my oldest son was murdered. I was emotionally bankrupt. Suddenly I found myself in a new ...state with no community beyond my six-year-old son, Roy Jr.
Fighting to create a new normal for me and my son, I signed him up for a soccer team. Before long, one of the other fathers at the field, Neal, invited me to Elevation Lake Norman. The sermon on forgiveness helped me realize I’d been holding onto anger since my wife and son passed away. I cried the whole time and each time I came until I realized I couldn’t carry the burden alone and gave my life to Christ.
I’m now in Neal’s eGroup with several men facing struggles of their own. I’m grateful to know despite the tragedy I faced, God’s given me family in these men around me. Today I’m ready to publicly declare my faith in Jesus Christ."
We're holding baptisms at Blakeney March 11.

We are praying this morning for families all over the world who've been impacted by violence. Most recently, our hearts break for those in Florida. We are grateful to be a part of a church that comes together always as a voice of peace, comfort, and unity.
We took a few moments today to pause, pray and worship together as a church family for Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. Please join us as we continue to lift up all those affected by this senseless tragedy.
