We are headed into the weekend and we've got CHURCH Sunday at 9:30 and 11:30AM - make plans to join us!
We've got "The HOP" a family-friendly spring party with an egg hunt, games, food, and more right after the 11:30AM worship experience AND here's what mom and volunteer Kristina Williams says:
"Hallen loves going to church every week to be taught by her @elevationekidz teachers! And I can say that when we started attending Elevation, I was hesitant to drop my kids off anywhe...re! I was a nervous wreck about someone taking them or hurting them (crazy, irrational mom thoughts , ya know?! But we have security guards! No need for mama worry!). Hallen skips off to class every week with a smile on her face! So, I just wanted to make a shoutout to all of them who spend their time with my girls, helping them to grow in Christ’s knowledge and love.... and for holding Hazel when she’s a little cray cray 😘😘 #elevationchurch #elevationblakeney Oh! And you should come with me one Sunday!"
Elevation Blakeney - Sundays at 9:30 and 11:30AM and Wednesdays at 7:00PM.
Let’s keep inspiring our kids to love reading. Our BlakeneyREADS Great Books drive continues tonight. Bring new or gently used books to church and we’ll get them to children in need.
Our MDWK worship experience starts at 7:00PM. We’ll make volunteer appreciation gifts for our partner @matthewshelpcenter directly afterwards.
LOVEWeekend is here. We've got nine great events to choose from and there's something for everyone. Sign up. Snap and share on social media using the hash tag #wearebuilders and be entered to win a fun dinner night out with pals.
“Going to church used to put me to sleep. In 2010, my daughter invited me to Elevation. I didn’t want to go, but she was excited and our relationship wasn’t where I wanted it to be so I said yes. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and that was nice but the worship blew me away. I stood to accept Christ during Easter 2011. Even though I’m in an eGroup and serve on an eTeam, I didn’t feel compelled to get baptized until #SavageJesus.
Over the past couple of weeks as Pastor Ste...ven preached things like “peace comes after obedience, take action, confront my comfort” I realized how much God has healed my family. Even though recent job transitions make me feel more uncertain than ever before. Today I am taking action, being obedient and surrendering my life fully to the Lord, as I have faith in his plan for me in the midst of my uncertainty. I’m standing in this tank today more uncomfortable than I’ve ever been. But I trust that it’s exactly where God wants me to be. Today I am being baptized as public profession of my faith in Jesus Christ.”
Us too. But we’ve got you. Spring forward tonight to make it to church on time. (Move your clock ahead one hour)
We’ve got baptisms in the morning and you won’t want to miss it!
TEAM - looking back over some of the highlights of our weekend IN CHURCH. If you’ve been feeling “too busy” to get to a physical Elevation Church location, hold that thought. Are we too busy? Or are we believing a lie the enemy is using to keep us feeling isolated and alone? Let’s fight back this week. Yes, we can get a momentary “fix” from an online experience. And if we are away from home we are so thankful for it. But truly there’s nothing like real, human, person to person connection. We are not perfect people. But this is a team following Jesus the best way we know how. We love each other, and God is building something through us. There’s a place for you, here.
