Adventures in Leadership has been the highlight of my transition to Elon. It was a week that not only enhanced my leadership skills but also allowed me to start college with a community of 25 other st...udents. Once I got on campus, the friendships I made during AIL provided the perfect jumping off point for the rest of my friendships. AIL was the best week of my summer and the best beginning to my time at Elon! Definitely a must for all incoming first years! I wish I could go again! See More

Adventures in Leadership made my transition into college tremendously easy. Going to a school where I knew absolutely nobody seemed daunting, but after AIL I knew 32 incoming freshman walking onto cam...pus that I was already great friends with. We had spent time bonding over white water rafting, rock climbing, hiking, and just spending time getting to know one another, so it was so exciting to step onto Elon's campus to see all of my new friends from the summer. AIL was the highlight of my summer and I would highly recommend it to all incoming freshman! See More

Adventures In Leadership absolutely transformed my transition into Elon. I came to school with 32 of the greatest people I've ever met. They have continued to be my best friends at Elon, and the peopl...e I've met through AIL have helped me get involved in so many more ways and forge connections I otherwise wouldn't have been able to make. Going on AIL was absolutely the best decision I've ever made because not only was it extremely fun and interesting, but it started me off with a positive experience coming into Elon, which then made getting involved in other clubs, programs, and organizations that much easier. If you read this and are thinking about going, PLEASE DO. You won't regret it, I promise you that. See More

An absolutely transformative experience for me, taking my college career down a challenging yet rewarding path! Not only did I learn about my personal leadership skills, I also made 32 friends just by... spending a week with them in West Virginia. I could not recommend a program more highly, especially if you're apprehensive about your transition to college. Both experienced campers and first-timers will love all this adventure has to offer!!! Adventures in Leadership was the absolute best part of my summer! It made transitioning into college so much smoother. I walked on to campus on Move In weekend and already knew 32 first-year students!... The week over the summer was filled with great adventures such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and repelling, and my life hear at Elon has been incredible due to the friendships I made that summer! Great program! I felt a part of the Elon community before I even started school here. Also, it helped me build great connections with staff and find a job when I got on campus. AIL definitely had the ...greatest impact on my Elon experience than anything else I've done so far! See More
