The Dining Room of the Historic and Haunted 1855 Plantation known as The May-Stringer House LIVE!
This house is Haunted by multiple Spirit’s. Some of the Spirit’s lived and died here from things like natural causes, sickness, accidents, or suicide. Some Spirit’s that are here are attached to an artifact that has been donated to the May-Stringer Museum. Guests and volunteers have reported seeing dishes move and even levitate in this room as well as hearing the voice of a woman calling out to them.
The house was built in Brooksville Florida by John May in 1855. He lived in the four room house with his wife Marena. They had two kids together. In 1858 John dies of TB. Marena later remarries to a man named Frank Saxon. They had a daughter named Jessie Mae who passed away at the age of three inside the house. Marena passed away at the house only days after giving birth to Jessie. Frank later remarries and builds a new house now referred to as Saxon Manor. Frank sold the house to a Dr. Sheldon Stringer who added on to the house making it a 13 room house. The Dr. ran his medical practice from the home. Many generations of the Stringers lived here. Later one of them had the cook house moved and attached to the house making it now a 14 room house. The Stringers finally sold it off and the museum association now owns it. It now houses over 11,000 donated artifacts. The oldest pre-date the Civil War. We have been volunteers for many years giving ghost tours and other things to help out. "Ghosts of the Old 'Ewa Plains"
One of the most common occurrences brought to my attention in the last twenty years in the 'Ewa-Kapolei area is the random manif...estations of shadow beings in the newer developments. Many of these shadows have not only been seen in homes but in shopping centers and schools in what is known as the second city of 'O'ahu. Who and what are these shadow beings? Are they the restless spirits which have anciently roamed the 'Ewa plains from time without beginning until this very moment? Could they appear on a ghost tour?
