M.S. Student Ismael Ramirez will be giving his thesis proposal seminar on Tuesday, December 12, at 3 pm in Hodson 490. The title of his seminar is "Behavior of the bird parasite Philornis downsi in Galapagos and ecology of its parasitoids in Mainland Ecuador."

Carrie Deans, postdoc at Texas A&M, and visiting scientist in the Hutchison lab, will be giving a seminar tomorrow at 3 pm. The tile of her seminar is "The Importance of Nutritional Plasticity in Plant-Insect Interactions: A Case Study with the Polyphagous pest Helicoverpa zea".
