Because >70% of my photography work is contracted personally, I have officially closed the NRCW PIX brand website and social media pages. I expect to consolidate at least 5 more before the end of 2018 and hope this will help me focus better in marketing myself and my skills by not worrying about updating six additional websites and brand pages.

The total number of skilled services or talents I have are broad, if not overwhelming to some people, but hope to give a real meaning... to "business solutions" as not only a consultant but implementing all of the tools & skills as a creator also. I don't have to market all of these services individually (as I have found it often confuses people with way too many options) but will bring these to the table as I see fit.

I will however continue to offer independent services (such as being a wedding DJ or wedding photographer) directly under my own name now [rather than a brand] to those seeking those services. I am working on a new website with the goal that it is easy to navigate, provide answers to questions for both business consultation services & solutions as well as all existing (and future) independent services quickly (expected to launch in July or August 2018).

As an audio professional and recently launching 360 videos, this is very important. I really hope the developers keep up with the wave as this will become big only if we can push this (unlike the 3D TV phase). I really believe in this 360° video [and audio] as the next generation that will not fail; I'm betting on it! If you missed the Zamboni ride I recently did for Northland Ice Center, go check it in my recent post!

I'm really proud of my latest 360° video which includes [with direct credit to Facebook] new "points of interest" which automatically pan the camera to interesting things (which can be set after a 360° video is uploaded).

Also, very impressive that Facebook Engineering has implemented a rather impressive stabilization of video which is something not found anywhere else yet as that doesn't even exist yet in most 360°-capable video editors. I can hardly wait to record and produce my next one.

Welcome to a new era of VR / 360 Super HD video technology. [go full screen on your smartphone and physically look around by moving your phone's screen or pause and look at the bears]!

This is one step away from adding a 3D so these new VR gaming headsets [which may even be as simple as programming the right algorithm since multiple cameras are already used] and we are truly going to see this explode! Today I say we're already there relating to things we only dreampt of creating the holodeck reality...

Hey, you've seen people react to the VR video games already, right? No? Check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ask3K_wiiKg (it just keeps getting better - well minus the broken electronics or faceplants from vertigo)! We should start with padded rooms for some of this stuff. haha

Take a 360° swim with a gang of ravenous brown bears in a remote lake that's home to one of the richest salmon runs on Earth.

360° Photo of Summit Park Ice Rink (special thanks to your crew this morning for making this possible)!

Just heard someone in the distance scream "the ice cream machine is broken"! It must have come from the McDonalds drive through across the street.

Interesting! Having started NRCW TV and touring many TV stations myself, I definitely have respect for how things were done in the early years but never knew this.

[Thanks Chris for sharing this]!

It goes without saying that nearly everything made with graphic design and video software was once produced using a physical process, from newspapers to TV Logos. But some TV stations and film studios took things even further and designed physical logos that were filmed to create dynamic special eff

Drew Eppley is feeling used.

If you ever are trying to sell a vehicle on your own, be absolutely sure you either know the person OR make a photocopy of their drivers license before giving them the keys or it could bite you on the ass hard.

I would say, conceptually, this isn't too far from my business plan / model lately. I need to cut the domain names that at least represent my creations down by 50% this year (and I'm not telling which because I still haven't decided on what domain names to keep and which domain names to let go of yet - 32 in all)... There's www.nrcworldwide.com as a landing page for at least 15 (yes fifteen!) of my projects so I'll start there. DJ FoxDawg? Scrap It, NRCW Records? Scrap it... Here's one example of my current situation: Thinking about moving NRCW PIX to a sub-domain again and NRCW Storm Intercept should merge with NRCW TV somehow and eliminate NRCW Pro Video? Or should I keep the Pro Video and eliminate the live broadcasting aspect? NRCW Sports is also on that same plate... ugh
