The sell-out Science in the Pub series is back for Science Week 2017, and it's Health & Medical Research's turn on the operating table!

In other nights we've been torn apart by the Milky Way, quizzed about bird calls and got our geophysics truck stuck in a creek.

It's free, thanks to a partnership between Phil Up On Science and ANU Medical School and is supported by National Science Week and Smiths Alternative Bookshop. It's grown into a series of three events, there is a Sustainability in the Pub, and Physics too - get your friends presenting in those!

We've had movies, demos, songs and standup - what will it be this year? It's up to you and your imagination!

You've got ei...ght minutes to have fun in a relaxed environment with a receptive crowd.

* Acts are limited to strictly eight minutes.
* There are limited slots available on the night: we will do our best
to include as many participants as possible, selection will be based
on showcasing a range of performances and experience.
* Available resources at the venue: powerpoint screen PC/mac,
microphone, PA sound system, dimmable lights
* Participants will need to inform us of their requirements for AV,
power etc before the night.
* There will be limited help available for setup and packup, for heavy or complicated equipment so please BYO roadies.
* Participants must ensure that the stage is clean and tidy for the
