I ordered some fabric last Thursday, and when it got here I realized it was the wrong pattern. I contacted them via Facebook here on Wednesday morning and sent them a picture of what I ordered vs. wha...t I got. Within 15 minutes they had already put in a new order for me! The confirmation email said it would be processed in the next 2 business days. Within 2-3 hours I got another email saying it had already shipped! They even rushed it for me and I received it Friday afternoon. Yes, they did mess up my order the first time, but their customer service is out of this world! They were quick, friendly, and very gracious and understanding. Will definitely be using this site again for any future projects! See More

Very poor shipping procedures. On January 31, 2018 I placed an order for fabric. I received an e-mail that it was shipped that same day. It arrived in Myrtle Beach, SC on February 2. My winter add...ress is about 8 miles away in North Myrtle Beach, SC. According to the tracking I was notified that I would receive it on February 6. It sat in the Myrtle Beach location for another 7 days. Then it was shipped to Louisville, KY, then to Greensboro NC, and arrived back in Myrtle Beach on February 12 and delivered to me in North Myrtle Beach that same day. If it had been shipped directly to North Myrtle Beach the first time it arrived in Myrtle Beach, I would have received it on February 2. I called the company and they placed a trace on my order or I probably would not have received it yet. In the meantime I purchased fabric from a local store because when I logged in to the tracking information it said "tracking information not available at this time." This message was shown for a number of days so I gave up on thinking I would ever receive it. The next tracking available was when it was shipped to Louisville, KY. I recently made an order through your store, an email was sent the next day that a fabric I had ordered was out of stock and I had 24hrs to email with a substitution for that fabric, I replied within ...3 Hrs of the email and made it aware that if my new request was unable to be prepared to then cancel the order O would re order again. The next morning I receive an email stating my order had gone out, of course I am excited and take a peak to ensure the substitution fabric was added, it was not. I went a head and called to be told too late it’s already gone out and our email doesn’t work. I asked to then have the substitution fabric shipped at their expense as I complied with the email to receive the substitution, I was told no it’s too expensive. I then questioned as to why my order would have been sent out if it’s international then and why would I have not received a call or another email. She told me they did not have ppl to call and email wasn’t working. She offered a $5 credit towards a next purchase. I am out 1.5 metres of fabric but had to pay the same amount for shipping, I am beyond disgusted with the lack of customer service that was given. I contacted a “supervisor” and left a message a week ago and yet still no response. Very poor way to run a business. See More

If you're a business owner, do not use this company. Over the years I've been pleased with the service, but last year I made multiple returns and was never provided with any paperwork that says what r...eturn was made, how much was credited to my account, etc.

When I contacted them I was told to get it online (it's not there), so I chatted with the agent and she said that they cannot provide that information (they could email me telling me what amount was credited). I asked that my issue be escalated to a manager, they required me to call in for that. I did, there was no manager available so I left a voicemail for the manager and the agent said she would escalate the issue as well. Nothing. When I asked for a follow up call I was told they cannot provide me documentation that proves my return.
I simply cannot understand this. As a business owner, if I'm audited, I would have to provide that documentation, yet this company is incapable of providing that to me.

You wouldn't walk into Walmart, return something and walk out without a receipt that showed what you returned and what was credited to you. It's unbelievable that they think it's acceptable to just say, "Sorry, we can't get you that."

I still have not been contacted by a manager. The issue is still not resolved. And after having contacted them 4 times about the same issue, it's clear they don't care.

As a business owner, I can't work with someone who won't support me. I'd warn you not to either.

Buyer beware. I spent over $300 in fabric and when the box arrived it was damaged in transit, and over $190 of the fabric I ordered was missing. I sent the company several emails over the span of a we...ek and got no response. I have pictures and everything. I paid through PayPal and opened a dispute and the only response I received was that the tracking number by the company. Well, yes the order was delivered, if customer service would have actually read my claim they would have seen that I wasn't claiming the box didn't arrive, just that all of the fabric I ordered wasn't in the box when it got to my house. I am out $190 and will have to reorder the fabric elsewhere.

In addition, in the past I ordered fabric that they only had pieces of and while they did email they only gave a short window in which to respond before they shipped out the order with the fabric in multiple pieces. I am not always on my phone or checking my email. In other words, they operate on their timeline, not their customers.

I ordered multiple swatches for a couple projects I’m working on. I’m a seamstress so this affect my livelihood. Originally I was sent a tracking number for my order. After a week of no updates to the... tracking number I called to find out what was happening. I was told that it was shipped out and that I needed to wait another week for arrival. Their excuse was that the post office sometimes doesn’t update their site. The swatches never arrived. I called back on a Friday and was told they would ship a replacement order for me on Monday via express shipping. Received another tracking number. Again there were no updates so a couple of days later I called. I was then told that it had shipped (not express though) and I had to wait at least another day before they could resend. I asked to speak with a manager. Of course one wasn’t available so I had to leave a message. I never received a call back. I waited another 2 days. Still no swatches. So today I called and asked for a refund. I did get the refund but over 3 weeks after my initial order and still no swatches and they didn’t seem to care. I even asked to talk to a manager again and one wasn’t available. I can’t imagine ordering fabric from a company that can’t even send swatches in a timely manner. I’d be afraid I wouldn’t receive my fabric. They have a lost a customer that orders a lot of fabric, but apparently that doesn’t matter to them. See More

Customer service sucks, placed an order for material that I was making blankets for my grandchildren and I don't like giving out my email because I don't use it that much but you can't place an order without it. That is the only way they communicate with you when there is a problem with your order so I ended up with 3 pieces of fleece the smallest piece was 12 inches really what can you do with 12 inches of fabric. The process to get my money back was even worse as they kept sending me a print off that would not show up on my laptop after 3 times I asked them to mail me a label they can't do that really. Then they wanted me to go to a couple of stores that were over 50 miles away 1 way and have them try to print it off for me, forget it. we are now in week 5 or 6 of this I leave for the weekend to come home and check my email on tuesday to find that the UPS was to pick up my fabric on Monday wow give me lots of notice on that one but thankfully I happened to be home tuesday afternoon when the UPS man showed up (still had not checked my email so was a total surprise to see him) so I had to quickly pack up 3 worthless pieces of material and give it to man felt so bad that he had to wait for this to be packed up. Hoping now I get my refund including the shipping since I didn't get what I ordered. See More

Well I purchased fabric and paid for three day UPS shipping. Still have not received my fabric and amazing enough I still have not gotten response from my email. Poor customer service. Rethinking them my business. UPDATE!!!

Virginia contacted me to resolve this issue as when I did finally recd my order my fabric was cut a little short. Virginia was very nice in shipping me .5 yard of each of the fabric I was short on. She also went out of her way and gave me a $30 account credit for the next time I order. I did not expect it as I was just wanting my fabric I was missing then short on. I am very appreciative of her contacting me quickly and getting this resolved. Due to her promptness in response I went ahead and ordered a couple more orders as she genuinely seemed concerned about this situation. I am hopeful that the issue will not happen again and the fabric will be cut as ordered and not shortened. Thank you Virginia for your assistance. Your company is very lucky to have you as you are very thorough and I’m appreciative of you going out of your way to fix the issues.

I purchased some fabric from them on march 15th looked at the tracking on ups, it said this. I don't like when I pay for ups and the sender sends it through ups and then has it transferred to the pos...t office. Now I probably won't get it until Thursday the 29th.

My review at this point is based solely on my online & customer service call prior to placing my order. The online website was user friendly and the two reps I spoke to were pleasant and knowledgeabl...e. I live in Georgia and hate I couldn’t pick up my fabric to expedite receiving it, but so far so good & truthfully I don’t think I would have ordered based on some of these issues. I am rather dissapointed as i have messaged them 2 times on questions of "country of orgin" on their fabric. What i see is "Made in the USA or other". What does that tell me? Nothing!
I am a casual... sewer and have purchased fabric from the soley over the years. How does a company not know where their fabric comes from? The bigger question is : What are they hidding if the can not be honest in their description? See More

Fabric . com -- HORRIBLE customer service.

I purchased an item advertised online. Received the wrong item. Was told that the item was "incorrectly listed" when I ordered it-- now it has a new sku... with the "right" information at a higher price. Company unwilling to send the item I ordered (even after providing proof of purchase) or make me whole on the transaction. They offered to issue a credit for the shipping I already paid (store credit, not refund), but would not send the actual item I had ordered because the sku was now different.

Contacted by phone, no help. Contacted by chat, no help and the rep. disconnected on me when I wasn't satisfied with their solution. Will not shop there again for my fabric business needs.

Just ordered 16 pieces of cotton material! I can't wait to get them to start on my next project. Colors were vibrant and easy to see, descriptions made picking and choosing easier than other sites. that shipment is quick and the cuts are accurate. Prices were cheaper than local shops and free shipping is a bonus! See More

I had been looking for a nautical type material to use in a quilt for someone, but I could not find what I was looking for in my area. I came across Fabric. com and they had exactly what I wanted in ...the right shade to blend with my other material. I placed my order on January 31, 2018 and received it today on my doorstep, February 2, 2018! Now that is customer service! I was so excited to get started on this latest project and now I can! The customer service people were nice but super non helpful. The return and cancellation policies suck. I ordered from this site a lot but about a month ago, I got fabric in the wrong color. I wanted but I got a carrot orange fabric. I tried to get send it back to get one in the right color but after I asked for that, I stopped getting a reply. So I ended up with fabric I didn't need. But since I ordered from them a lot, I figured it is a once in a while thing which I could deal with since I sew a lot. I then placed an order for something else two days ago. I ordered at 8:42 and tried to get it canceled at 11:28. I didn't get a reply and sent another email today to try and cancel before they ship. I got a reply today saying they shipped but they didn't send tracking or confirmation which they normally do. They told me it is probably a delay but I order from this site a lot and I normally get the tracking even before they ship so I don't understand why now that I want it cancelled, I get a delay. After the customer service said they couldn't cancel it because it "shipped" they sent me to the supervisor and the call disconnected on hold.I called in again and got a different lady for customer service. I told her that I already talked to someone else and that I wanted to talk to supervisor and didn't want to go over everything again. She asked me for the order number and she told me it has NOT shipped yet. But, she sent me to the supervisor because that is what I asked before that. The call disconnected like right away that time. I called in again and asked for the supervisor but then she says the supervisor is not around and if I wanted to leave a message which I am sure I will never hear back from so I give up. I am never ordering from this site again and telling all me cosplay friends to stay away from this. Disgusting policy. See More

Excellent service with so many different prints and patterns available. I make dog collars and this website has been amazing for providing a huge variety of prints for my customers. Shipping, although... expensive to Canada, is very fast and all items are always packaged neatly. See More

Worst customer service ever. I was trying to check a coupon code and hit a wrong button. They never sent me a receipt or confirmation but shipped a package to my old address without verifying anything..., they wouldn’t divert the package back to themselves and won’t give me my money back for stuff I didn’t get. I placed my first order two days ago and received it right now. It took only two days from the US to Germany - that is a new olympic record ;)). The whole fabric is in excellent condition and even mor...e beautiful than I expected. What I liked on the website was the possibility to put my choices on a memoboard and arrange them via mouse so I could check if the colours and patterns match. (I really fell in love with the black fabric with the red crabs on it!) I will definetely buy again and recommend your shop. Thank you! See More
