It's a few days after the 15th Anniversary of 9/11, and I came across this song, written by a bunch of kids from Amherst, that I hadn't listened to in a while. As I was listening, I thought about how I didn't know any other songs about 9/11. Not one. Curious. Not like it was a major event or anything. Anyway, this one is actually pretty great, and the fact that it was composed and recorded by literally teenagers from Amherst makes it even more profound to me. Absolutely worth a listen. Makaya is on drums I believe, and my friend Brian Bender engineered it at Face The Music Recording Studio, and did a great job.
